I am rejecting this response because: A simple modification to the webpage was not indicated as the desired outcome by the businessI do not hold them personally responsibleIf they feel so strongly about "Acts of God", it should be reflected by the verbiage regarding shipping time. Example of a simple change: “fast 3-day FREE shipping by the U.SPost Office(Note: Open box fast on arrival day.)" **SHIPPING NOTE/ FREE SHIPPING OPTION: Due to "Acts of God" whose landslides, floods, snowstorms, freeway closures, and tornadoes prevent interstate commerce from functioning as planned, your package may arrive later than days. If you desire guaranteed delivery, please select an alternate shipping method at checkout before paying for your order.”In my last e-mail to them on 06/12/at 10:AM CST, I asked that the second box be sent via *** or *** at my expense for!! I even went to the trouble of getting shipping prices and locating the closest possible drop of centers for each shipping entity that would ensure delivery by the end of this business week (06/19/15). They have sent yet another box via the U.SPostal system.I thank them for making a second attempt and barring any “Acts of God” one or both package may arrive. That said; I will not consider the issue closed until they change their webpage. All E-mail communication between the business and consumer in attachments for review by the Revdex.com

We are improperly being held account for an unusual post office delay in one package among the thousands that we ship each year.  We offered our cherished customer a 2nd free box of walnuts delivered on time, but were turned down.  The USPS has...

delivered 99.5% of our packages on time each year, as is, as I understand it, the norm for the entire nation.  To require all US websites to post a notice that 0.5%, or 1 package per 200 shipped may be delayed seems most unreasonable.  Remember that their are so-called "Acts of God" whose landslides, floods, snowstorms, freeway closures, and tornados prevent interstate commerce from functioning as planned and on time 100%.

Review: Walnuts are infested.

Ordered 5lbs of English walnuts. Received them loose in a post office cardboard box mailer. They are gray streaked. Emailed the Haag company and they assured me this was normal, they claim the nuts are sealed anyway and advised me to just enjoy the nuts. The next 2 nuts I opened had itlle tiny white worms (living) and I threw out the entire box. I don't want to have to think about checking each one. Desired Settlement: I would just like a refund. I cannot complete my holiday baking until I purchase some more. I emailed the company today just prior to this complaint. I doubt I will hear from them.

Review: ADVERTISING RELATED- 1) Website ([redacted])for the business "Haag Farm" advertises on their webpage "fast 3-day FREE shipping by the U.S. Post Office". 2) It was suggested to the business "Haag Farm" that they change the a fore mentioned shipping time information on their webpage in the interest of customer service/ client satisfaction. DELIVERY ISSUE- 3) The business "Haag Farm" was contacted several times via e-mail that my order DID NOT arrive in 3 (business) days as advertised. I can and will be happy to provide shipping records from USPS website and my local Post Office. They clearly show the package Origin Acceptance on 06/08/2015 at 20:49 (8:49PM) in Esparato CA, 95627 and then subsequently being shipped (en-route, processed & scanned) on 06/09/2015 at 22:04 (10:04PM) in West Sacramento CA, 95799 (Scanner ID PSS-001-31). I can and will be happy to provide all email communication between the business "Haag Farm" and myself, including the purchase receipt (Paid via Pay-Pal with a credit card on 05/10/2015) 4) When and if the product does arrive, if it is found to be not fit for use it will be returned at the expense of the business "Haag Farm". At that time I would expect a full refund.Desired Settlement: I am not seeking monetary re-reimbursement unless the product is inedible/ unusable, nor am I pursuing free product(as a second order was offered by the business "Haag Farm"). I am pursuing this for Truth In Advertising, as describe by the Federal Trade Commission. The business "Haag Farm" did not deliver in 3 days time because it was basing shipping times on U.S. Postal Service Estimated as opposed to Actual shipping time. I want the business "Haag Farm" to adjust their website accordingly.

Review: Further to your response which directs fault on your customer regarding specifying that the green walnuts were for pickling, please note the following facts.1.Your advertisement fails in writing (i.e. print) to state the requirement that the customer was required to reveal the intended use of the green walnuts.2.Your advertisement specified that green walnuts were available in June only. June was the time for the order was made and the walnuts were received.3.The advertisement fails to describe the various shell formation grades within the month of June requiring the customer to be informed of quality for the intended use.4.With the choice of uses of green walnuts as you promote in your website, one can safely assume that our order may have been for pickling. There are no caveats on quality for that purpose. There was no definition provided on green walnuts. There is that leap that it is understood that green walnuts are in fact shell free. I do not see categories of almost green, very green, not so green, no shell, soft shell, almost shell, etc.Your on-line advertisement is below.Excised from the [redacted] Family Farm website (www.Walnuts.US) Green Walnut linkNew & now available in the U.S.! Order anytime after April 1.[redacted] Farm, www.Walnuts.US, is selling (-June only!-) pure whole unripe delicate GREEN WALNUTS from Calif. at about 10 walnuts/lb ($42.25 for 5 lbs. minimum--50 nuts--or only $8.45/lb) with fast 3-day FREE shipping by the U.S. Post Office. (Note: Open box fast on arrival day.)For Green walnut recipes now, see GOOGLE, Martha Stewart or foodwebsites and cookbooks from England & Europe & the U.S. (Do quarter or smash walnuts unless you are pickling them!)Yum, yum! Now make your own: a) Nocino or nocello cordial/liqueur (Italy);b) Pickled walnuts "succulent" (Europe);c) Vin de Noix "nectar" (France);d) etc. etc. etc. (Flavor any vodka!)Your response demonstrates that quality control and customer services are not foundations of your business or mission statement, if you have one. I have no interest in arguing with you. What I will do is file a complaint with the Revdex.com as this transaction is fraudulent, stemming from your misrepresentation of a product sold. You could have easily refused the order in our best interest, and your reputation, as the product was inferior at the time. But you took the order and the funds. Your choice to do so, and hence the consequences have come to bear. This is an unfortunate course of action with a new customer.

Business claimed that it was my fault that II received products that were not suitable for pickling, however, when I pointed out the claims made in their web advertisement,, see above, I received no response.
