I purchased a Haan steamer ms 30 model a couple years ago online from
Haan corporation. Had an issue with power button sent it back and they sent me another. I did not use it much at all. Maybe 5 times. On October 13th 2017 I started using it and maybe 10 minutes in the power button started flickering and smoking. I tried to turn it off burnt the top of my finger because it started melting around the button. I then needed to pull the plug so it would stop. I had to carefully put it outside so it did not start a fire. I then Contacted haan corporation through email because they do not pick up the phone and they told me it was no longer under warranty, they couldn’t do anything and to take it to a vacuum repair shop! Wow! The thing caught fire it’s not repairable! This is not fair! I’ve read other occasions this has happened. This seems like a very unsafe production issue and should have been recalled. I would never recommend this company! Haan you should replace these! This is just not fair!
