For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The issue is that I had asked in person and in writing for a special specification, NOT the manufacture's specificationI had emailed [redacted] at Haas a request to contact the piston supplier (***) about the proper spec and they did not follow up with that request which resulted in the failureThe work was not done correctly because Haas machine did not follow the direction to contact [redacted] for the desired specFurthermore, when I returned to haas they verified that the cylinder bores were not completely uniform.As far as reasonably responding to my concerns - during the conversation with MrHaas, I was yelled at and talked over nearly the entire timeMrHaas would not answer my questions, especially about the email correspondence that I had sent to ***His conduct was completely unprofessional Regards, [redacted] ***

The Haas Machine Company did perform work for this individual, and we did so with the same care and precision we have exercised with countless customers over the last yearsWhile we understand the customer’s frustration at the failure of his engine, we do not believe that our work caused it in any wayWe performed all work according the manufacturer’s specifications included with the parts the customer provided usThose are the only specifications which were provided with the partsWhen the customer returned to our shop after the engine failure, we verified for the customer that our work was done correctlyThe customer was not satisfied, and on March 14th, 2016, asked to speak to [redacted] directlyMrHaas was out of the shop at that time, but returned the customer’s call on March 18th, At this time, we believe we have made all reasonable efforts to respond to the customer’s concernsHe has indicated that he considering litigation, and we do not believe it is appropriate to make any further comments.? ? ? ? ? ? ? he Haas Machine Company reiterates its previous statementThe only specifications provided were the manufacturer's specifications included with the customer's partsAll work was performed within those specifications, and we verified this fact for the customer when he returned to our shopMrHaas disagrees with the customer’s characterization of the conversation they later had, and believes that he has done everything reasonable to address to the customer’s concernsDue to the customer’s threats of litigation, we have been advised by counsel to refrain from saying anything more on the matter

Furthermore, when I returned to haas they verified that the cylinder bores were not completely uniform.As far as reasonably responding to my concerns - during the conversation with Mr. Haas, I was yelled at and talked over nearly the entire time. Mr. Haas would not answer my questions, especially about the email correspondence that I had sent to [redacted]. His conduct was completely unprofessional.

he Haas Machine Company reiterates its previous statement. The only specifications provided were the manufacturer's specifications included with the customer's parts. All work was performed within those specifications, and we verified this fact for the customer when he returned to our shop. Mr. Haas disagrees with the customer’s characterization of the conversation they later had, and believes that he has done everything reasonable to address to the customer’s concerns. Due to the customer’s threats of litigation, we have been advised by counsel to refrain from saying anything more on the matter.
