I am very disappointed but not surprised to receive this complaint from the *** Quite simply, their complaint is false...We have been very proactive with any service requests they have submitted and we have been very effective with our communication I have documented phone and
email records to prove this.Also their claim that my company is "messing up peoples' homes is slander My company has an excellent track record of service on over homes built supported by our A+ Revdex.com rating Here are the facts involving the ***: They are very unreasonable and rude They expect my company to take care of any service issue either after 5:30pm or on the weekends and that is not an option My service specialist who is a wonderful person and a true professional was so upset after dealing with Ms*** recently, that she actually contemplated quitting her job I have personally spoken with every worker and contractor that has been to their home and each one told me the same thing that these are some of the meanest spirited people they have ever encountered while working for my company Something very important to also note about the Ofarrells...They threatened to "plaster us all over social media" if they didn't get their way with having us do their repair under their time frame.The issue at hand that brings on this complaint is that the *** are wanting us to make a repair to their shower to fix a very small defect but the repair is a very intensive job and would take several days to do I agreed to make the repair without any problem but the *** are demanding that I wait until the summer which I am unwilling to do because of the fact there is a good chance that some decorative tile components will not be available at that time.I have also previously offered the ultimate resolution to the *** to buy back their home at full price if they were unhappy They declined, but this offer still stands *** ***, Vale irvin Homes

As the owner of Vale Irvin Homes, I disagree with the complaints this owner has filed. The failure of her fence is not from settling that occurred around the septic tank, but in my opinion due to the combination of poor workmanship by the fencing company (hired by the Ms***) and the
tremendous weight of the fence.1. The fence is not a typical wood fence. It was built with heavy structural steel because it has a wide double gate for Ms*** to fit her large motor home through and it is also is two feet taller than normal. As a result it is very heavy. I believe the poles that hold this extra weight should been set deeper into the ground than what they were. I had nothing to do with the engineering or the construction of this fence, so I should not be responsible for its failure. Important note: When I first saw this fence, I was very impressed with the welding and steel work involved. I actually contacted Ms***'s realtor, *** *** who is her niece to get the name of the contractor so I could contact him to do work for me. The realtor, via email recommended not to use the contractor and explained that her aunt, Ms*** had actually had big problems with the contractor and had a total of three different contractors work on the fence to get it finished.2. There was indeed some earth settling around the septic tank. As soon as my service department was notified of the problem, it was quickly resolved.3. I strongly dispute the claims that the soil grading in the yard was done poorly. It was done in accordance with our typical standards. I have personally inspected this yard and with the exception of one issue in the back yard that has since been corrected, Ms ***'s yard is exactly the same as all the other homes I built on this remarkably beautiful and scenic street where it is located as well as thirty others in the neighborhood.In closing, out of all the different responsibilities that I have as the owner of a large home building company, customer service after the sale is the most important one of all. I sincerely approach this aspect with a Golden Rule approach. I strive hard to take care of my homebuyers exactly how I wish to be taken care of when I am a customer. And I believe that subscribing to this ideal has resulted in my business receiving only one complaint in approximately the past three years and having a Revdex.com rating of A+Respectfully submitted*** *** ***
