I worked with 3 contractors on getting foam insulation bids for a 40x60x16 steel building. Calls back were inconsistent, communication was inconsistent, and recommendations were all over the map. And reviewing backgrounds, some contractors had zero feedback - and some very mixed feedback.
Zach @ Habishield was great to communicate with. He made it very simple for me to decide how much insulation and what type to use as he'd quote me per sqft/in.
He also provided options for me to do my own floor covering or do it for me at a reasonable price.
I've had one other home that was done in foam and I can tell you that there is a SUBSTANTIAL difference in installation across contractors. Inconsistent insulation, insulation with voids - all application issues can really compromise how you are spending money. It does very little good to have 2" of insulation in one place, missed roof decking, and 6" of insulation in the other. Note of these issues are present with habishield.
Installation with habishield is excellent. Clean up is excellent. I would say that they did "at least" the bid amount of insulation across the install and I know they sealed some gaps that required substantially more.
I'll be using them for a home soon.
