***, He called us on August 7, about air conditioner not cooling properlyAfter a, thorough diagnostic check of unit Techperformed and checking duct supply, plenum, compressor, blower motor and fan motor found that unit was operating to its capacity and properlyOnly concern at that time was Thermostat was a little out dated and may need to be replaced in near futureFor this we charged the service call price $On August 28, He called us back out, before going out we educated Mr***, that he would be charged the $service call charge that is customary for service calls plus the cost of repairs, He agreed to thisMr***, concern was unit was not cooling againThis time after looking over the unit we found it may be low on Freon R410A and to check Freon tech educated Mr*** which he was outside with tech during this call that Freon is usually checked during maintenance to get a better readingHe then agreed to have unit maintenance even handing over the water hose to techTech had determined that unit was in fact low on Freon by lbsand added the lbsat that timeWhen tech gave the invoice to Mr***, he went over each charge and agreed to full amount due signing invoice and wrote out the check for the full amount of invoiceMr***, called the office on August 31, demanding he be given back $for being over charged my dispatcher and I explained that $is the service call charge and this is applied to each time we are called out to service unit and that he was informed about this charge before I had a techgo outHe became irate and stated if he didn’t get his $back he would make sure that all of ***, knows not to use my company and he was going to call his bank to place a hold on checkHe also said he will be expecting his check in the mail he then hung upIf we had replaced a part and that part would have malfunction then we would not charge a service call charge but this was not the case with Mr***, unit was working properly on 1st service call visitAlso Mr*** never mentioned anything about unit running continuouslyAttached are the invoices for both times we had gone out to Mr*** you’ll see that unit running continuously is never mentioned nor that unit is cleanWe are committed to providing our customers with the highest level of customer satisfaction possible and I also understand that we cannot please everyone as much as we try I’m sorry we could not come to an agreement with Mr***, Sincerely, H-A-C Heating & Air Conditioning Owner *** ***
