Review: 2/**/15: Placed order for book, The Fashion Sketchpad through website: [redacted] 2/**/15: Received a shipment from Hatchette Book Group two North American Songbirds books. The invoice was for [redacted] in [redacted]. Emailed the shipper to let them know of error. 2/**/15: Received reply from [redacted], only two items, donate or destroy. Replied that I think my order may have been confused with the one I received. Gave her the details of my order and asked for my order to be sent. 2/**/15: Received reply from [redacted] that Hatchette Book Group is only the distributor, but otherwise has no relationship with [redacted]. She indicated that I have a business account and she gave instructions to place an order. Called ###-###-####, the number both on the charge to my account and on [redacted] website. Phone answered by Hatchette Book Group and the woman I spoke with said the same as the email, that they are only the distributor and that I need to go to the [redacted] website and call that number. Replied to [redacted]s email that the phone number for [redacted] goes directly to Hatchette Book Group and that I had never heard of Hatchette Book Group until I received the shipment. Flagged the charge on my card for non-receipt of goods.Received reply from [redacted] requesting my shipping address to have [redacted] refund my card. I replied with my address. I received reply from [redacted] that order was delivered 2/**/15. I replied that it was not my order delivered and sent a PDF picture of the songbirds book and [redacted] invoice.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund of purchase price $15.38 and verification that any business account set up in my name has been closed and my contact information removed from their system.

Review: A payment of $761.00 was made in error to Hachete Book Group. The payment was to go to another company. I have records documenting proof that the check was deposited by the company even thought it was not applied to my account. Multiple emails with the customer service and accounts receivable department have been largely ignored. I have received replies from customer service, but never accounts receivable. Customer service only forwards my correspondence to accounts receivable. It has been almost a month since the payment cleared my bank.

I was never contacted by accounts receivable to ask what this payment was for since I have a $0 balance on my account.

The last transaction I had with Hachette Book Group was May, 2012 which was paid in full.Desired Settlement: Unnecessary time has been spent on collecting this uncomplicated refund. I request a refund of $761.00 plus $120 for my time.
