I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI spoke with the *** and he was correct, the charge on my card return back to the original purchase amountMy recommendation, however, is that in the future, he handle complaints or issues with his loyal customers in a more professional mannerIt is not ok, simply because you own a business, to behave in a confrontational manner and basically call someone a liarHe was initially not aware of this fact that he recently discovered, and did not believe me when I called with my complaintI was left feeling as if I did not matter as a customer and he was extremely rudeUp until this issue, I frequented his establishment at least times per weekI have not returned since, not because of the misunderstanding, but because of his character as a business ***That being said, I do consider this issue resolved

Hello, I [redacted] of "Hacienda El Charro#2" am speaking on behalf of a complaint filed by [redacted] The complaint or issue has to do with the purchase from my business. The product was an order of tacos which valued at $3.79. The customer's care activity states that she had a...

transaction at my business on [redacted] with the total amount charged begin $4.55, which is ironically 20%. Now I did my research and went to the website of the card company the customer is associated with which is smiQne ([redacted]). I then went to the Cardholder Agreement ( which I also included in the envelope) and read through it and found a section that's the following,If you use your Card at a restaurant , a hotel. for a car rental purchase, or for similar purchases, the merchant may preauthorize the transaction amount for the purchase amount plus up to 20% more to ensure there are sufficient funds available to cover tips or incidental expenses incurred. Any preauthorization amount will be place a "hold" on your available funds until the merchant send us the final payment amount of your purchase. Once the final payment amount is received, the preauthorization amount on hold will be removed. It may take up to seven (7) days for the hold to be removed. During the hold period, you will not have access to the preauthorization amount.in the copy of the Cardholder Agreement provided, I went ahead and circled the section which reads the section. Overall we did end up charging the customer $3.79 not $4.55. This is simply the unawareness the customer had with the agreement for her card. My desired settlement would be to close the case for the filed complaint.  Thank you and best regards,[redacted]
