The customers vehicle was towed to our shop with the clutch out, the customer did not mention any other concerns and no other items were addressed during this repair Because the vehicle was towed in we don't know the condition of the vehicle before it got hereIf it was low on oil, it was low before we received the vehicle After the exhaust noise was repaired an engine noise was heard and the engine was found to be low on oilSince the oil change we had performed for them was done in July, months ago I asked the customer how often they check the oil level, they stated they had not been checking the oil levelIt is possible the engine has slowly been using oil and had not been noticed because it was not checked between changes Replacing a clutch has nothing to do with the level of engine oil, if there is a problem with the clutch it has a warranty backed by [redacted] that can be addressed at any [redacted] DealerNo reimbursement for this repair will be offered

My sincere apology for not responding timely My sales manager made a preliminary assessment based the information provide by Mr [redacted] without forwarding the information to the lender where Mr [redacted] had the approval letter from We are not the lender and we should have sent Mr [redacted] information to the lender and allowed the lender to make a final decision We will be glad to do so if we can have Mr [redacted] come by the dealership first My understanding is Mr [redacted] has not yet been to the dealership He has just provided information over the phoneWe are not always perfect Our customers do humble us and make us better I hope Mr [redacted] will visit the dealership so we can find a solutionThank you

Replacing a clutch has nothing to do with the level of engine oil, if there is a problem with the clutch it has a warranty backed by [redacted] that can be addressed at any [redacted] Dealer. No reimbursement for this repair will be offered.
