I am rejecting this response because:  Complaint # [redacted]December 14, 2016Dear [redacted],My name is [redacted]nd my husband, [redacted], and I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, Oct. 3, on Rick Linda, owner of the Hacienda Plastering and Fine Finishings, Inc. It was resolved and we accepted his  refund amount of $1,012.81. Even though we did not agree with the amount we did accept to just get this over with.On Nov. 14th I re wrote on the complaint that we still have not received our money. I texted him on Nov. 25th and gave him until Dec. 2nd or I would take this to a lawyer. He contacted my Husband by text the Nov. 30th and asked for our address. So, I held off on calling the lawyer. As of today we still have no money. I have contacted Dan Corbin, lawyer in [redacted] and have an upcoming appointment on Monday at 10:15. I will be asking for all of my money back plus all court and lawyer costs if I do not have my money by Monday.I also will be contacting the Texas Attorney General on him and his company.I am writing to you today to see if you can at least talk with him and get this over with or if he is willing to go to court then I guess that is what we will do. If you could please let me know what he says because I am done being nice with him and do not want to hear from him unless it is my money. We are not sue happy people and I have tried through you to settle this and he still will not comply. I am hoping you will put him on your list for companies not to do business with! Thank you for your help.[redacted] TX 76549[redacted]

Douglas Roach

Revdex.com:Reply in regards to complaint #[redacted].  Oct. 30, 2016My husband and I feel we are accepting Mr. [redacted] offer under duress. Unfortunately, we feel we have no other option, as court proceedings can be long and costly, even though we feel the offer to be unfair. When we hired Mr. [redacted] in March 2016, we provided him with $2500.00 good faith money to provide us with the service we contracted him for, which was to finish the work on a pond my husband started. He accepted the work without reservations, but asked my husband to do a few extra things with the pond before he could get started, which he did in a timely fashion to avoid delaying the work. Over the course of the next few months (March – October), Mr. [redacted] scheduled approximately five appointments to come and do work that he did not show for, as well as countless phone messages left by my husband that he never returned. Mr. [redacted] actually did no work on the pond over the time he was contacted, as he never showed up. On two occasions he sent a third party contactor to do work on the pond, but we were required to pay an additional $900.00 to that contractor. At no time was the initial $2500.00 we provided to Mr. [redacted] used toward the work on our pond. A majority of conversations with Mr. [redacted] included his blaming us for “inconveniencing” him and him stating he should have never taken the job. We attempted multiple times to stop the contract between us and asked Mr. [redacted] to just return the good faith money, but he refused. Ultimately, after involving the Revdex.com, Mr. [redacted] has offered to return only $1,012.81 of our good faith money, with no work done, because he dropped off $967 in materials in March and had to pay his crew $272 to drop those materials off, as well as a $247 finder’s fee for the third party contractor he sent to do the work he was contracted to do. Ultimately, it was a bad decision on both of our parts to have agreed to the contracted work, and due to that we lost money on materials we can never use and still do not have our pond completed. We do please ask this money is returned to us in a timely matter and not drug out for months. It has been seen March 9th and all we ask to get this over is send us a check now, not 9 months from now. Thank you[redacted]
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
[redacted]
