Table Rock Restoration Services was sold on 09-23-2016. The [redacted] job was not included in the sale. Mr. And Mrs. [redacted] had some bad luck with their aging mobile home. We did all we could to save them money. They made us feel sorry for them...

because insurance wouldn't pay for this or that. All said and done we saved them thousands of dollars. Mr. [redacted] wanted to know how much money he was going to be out of pocket. I told him I would do all I could to save him as much as we could. The tub was reinstalled and reinforced better than it was to began with. The company that originally installed it was contacted to see what they thought about the issue. Their exact words were "You'll never please that man" referring to Mr. [redacted]. That being said I could not afford to continue to try and meet with Mr. [redacted]. He would never give an exact time that he would be there. He lives 3 1/2 hours away. He would never text or call and say "We are on our way we'll be there in 3 1/2 hours. No he would show up and then say "I'm here where are you" This home is located 30 minutes from our office or normal work area. I couldn't just drop what we are doing to run and meet him. Most of the issues he is referring to are because he opted to save money. If we would have done everything to his expectations he would have been out of pocket over four thousand dollars. I explained that the carpet seams would be noticeable. he didn't care if it was going to save him money. The cabinet with the six inch gap was because he wanted it reversed to open from the front side. Again, if he wanted to spend more money he could have had whatever he wanted. Lesson learned. Do not try to save people money. Do an honest job for the honest price and things like this wouldn't happen. But that's what you get when you try to save someone money. They still expect the high dollar job. This job was the ultimate deciding factor into my decision in selling the business. Mr. [redacted] verbally agreed to paying me the $1,800. But he thinks since two months had gone by that he does not owe it. Its ok. We are not going to fight for it. I explained that to Mr. [redacted] in my last email to him. We will use the final invoice as a write off. We have no further action.
