The following is a time line of work done to Ms ***'s Complaint: We have been completely upfront with Ms*** and all repairs that need to be completed with her car3/2/repair order Ms ***'s car was towed to the shop and wouldn't startWe found that the vehicle was not getting
fuelWe replaced the sending unit because the fuel gauge didn't indicate the correct fuel levelTotal cost to the customer was $When the car was delivered to the customer the vehicle was in good running conditionWe advised Ms*** of other maintenance repairs that should be preformed to keep the car in good running conditionCar at the first visit had 242,miles.File notes show that the car had a nonfunctional wheel speed sensor, (which is what calculates mileage along with other information) customer declined the repair due it did not effect the way the car drove3/20/repair order vehicle arrived running, but rough with a check engine lightWe found the vehicle to have an air leak at the oil separatorTotal cost $Again when the car was delivered to the customer it was in good running condition with additional maintenance repairs suggested to the customer4/3/repair order vehicle came in running rough and missingFound another air leak on the valve coverWe replaced with a used part per customer requestAfter repairs were completed found that the vehicle was still misfiringReplaced spark plugs and the #coil as indicated by live data on the diagnostic machineTotal cost $ Customer couldn't pay for repairs, so Andy (company owner) allowed Mrs *** to make paymentsThere is still a balance due of $on this RO Car was delivered to the customer in good running conditionStill maintenance repairs suggested to the customer6/15/repair order Vehicle came in for oil change and check over for a trip, also had a flat tire on the right rearDuring the inspection the technician found that the coolant expansion tank was leakingPart replaced so Mrs *** could complete her tripAt this time she stated she couldn't pay for repairsAndy extended payments to help customerCar was delivered to the customer in good running conditionStill maintenance repairs suggested to the customerEarly in October Mrs *** called stating the vehicle is running rough againCasey asked Mrs *** to bring the vehicle by to see what is going onShe stated she couldn't afford to fix whatever was messed up this timeCasey replied that with out seeing the vehicle there was no way to know what was wrong. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 1251349.  I have left voice mail messages for Hafkemeyer Motors to call me to discuss a resolution. In addition to my response,  I feel uncomfortable with taking my car in to be diagnosed.  My reasons are as follows: Driving any distance has proven to be dangerous as the car has stopped on me several times while driving on the highway or a side street.The fact that I have reported Hafkemeyer Motors inability to repair my car, how can I be reassured that I will be told the truth of the diagnosis and repair needs of my car? I will let the Revdex.com know the outcome of the resolution.
