I would like to respond with the facts that I have regarding this complaint.2/10/Friday – Mr [redacted] had purchased and took delivery of Chevrolet Silverado Vehicle was purchased As Is with no warranty.2/11/Saturday – Mr [redacted] stopped in with the vehicle and stated that the wheel drive did not work and the check engine light was on He stated that he scanned vehicle with his scanner and got codes out of the computer that one code was for a possible emissions problem and did not know what the other code was for He stated that he would like to take the vehicle to his mechanic and get an estimate.2/11/Saturday – later that day – Mr [redacted] stopped in with the vehicle and gave me an estimate for replacement of a Transfer Case Motor The total estimate with tax was for $ I explained to the customer that the vehicle was sold As Is with no warranty, but I would make a good will adjustment and noted on the check that this would be a final adjustment for $ This check was cashed by the customer on 2/13/ Mr [redacted] had stated that he was going to put a wheel bearing on the vehicle because he thought that it needed it.2/13/Monday – Mr [redacted] stopped in and stated that he was not satisfied with the $check he received and that he was going to the Revdex.com.2/16/Thursday – Mr [redacted] stopped in and gave me a bill he received from his mechanic for Transfer case Motor replacement and a Left Front wheel bearing replacement totaling $and then stated that he had to buy a gas cap now as well I explained to the customer that the vehicle was sold As Is and that I had already made a final good will adjustment to him I explained to the customer that I did not sell the vehicle with a warranty He stated that he was not done with this yet and left upset.I feel that the $good will adjustment that I paid the customer was more than fair for the $estimate that he gave me, when the vehicle was sold As Is with no warranty in the first place On the supplied paperwork from the Revdex.com customer has stated that he is disputing $when he filled it out on 2/13/but he only had submitted me with an estimate of $ It was not until 2/16/when he came with a second invoice that now was for a Transfer case motor and wheel bearing I am unsure where a dispute amount of $is valid when the customer has stated on the Revdex.com form that he would like the dealer to make and pay for the necessary repairs to get the wheel drive function to work.You may contact me at ###-###-#### if there are any further questions that you may have regarding this concern
