I recently took a flight with Ravn Alaska and ran into huge issues due to a delayed Ravn Alaska flightThe flight information is below:
The incoming flight to Homer from Bethel was delayed by an hour because the plane was waiting for passengers to make the Bethel flight so the airlines decided to delay all subsequent flightsThis in turn made us miss our connecting flight with United in Anchorage set to depart from Anchorage at 11:48PM (which was within the hour connection flight time period that Ravn Alaska suggests)
I was told that Ravn Alaska would help us with United Airlines to get another flight (as is stated in Ravn Alaska's 'Our Commitment to You' - https://www.flyravn.com/flying-with-ravn/our-commitment-to-you/#flightdelays), but that was not the caseWe were stranded and United Airlines was not the least bit helpful since the delay was not their faultThis wasn't a mechanical issue, or a weather issue, it was because the pilots/control decided that the other

I had a confirmed ticket on *** ***, purchased nearly months ago It was from Wainwright, AK (AIN) to Barrow, AK (BRW) on *** At the last moment they cancelled our flight and gave our plane over to a charter which still went to where I was I was not allowed to be on it because it was a charter *** simply cancelled the paid tickets in order to make double money by chartering out our flight, knowing that we have no other choice *** purchased ALL their competitors in this region (*** *** *** *** *** ***) in order to maintain this monopoly
This is causing me great personal expense, as I have to rebook all my flights from Barrow to Spokane, WA These are all at my own expense All so *** can once again strand their paying customers in order to make more money selling charters

My wife and I were supposed to take flight ** *** from Barter Island to Fairbanks on the 5th of SeptemberHowever it was cancelled by Ravn Alaska, after chevia phone, without prior warning and with no alternative flights in the next daysThis led me to have to pay for another night accommodation and charter a plane to leave Barter IslandAt the time I requested the cancellation of the flight and was told by Ravn's customer service to contact Ravn directly for a refund
Despite having an email from Ravn customer service confirming my flight was cancelled and presenting proof of purchase for the extra night's accommodation (attached) Ravn now says the flight occurred as and refuses to refund me the cost of my flightThis is simply not possible Me and several other passengers all had to spend additional nights in Kaktovik due to this cancellation and I was in contact with Ravn's local agent throughout the entire afternoon and evening

This complaint is in regards to an airline ticket from WBB to OMEIn July I booked an airline ticket for my mother through ***I booked over the phoneI received a confemail with my flight # and timesThe flight was scheduled to depart WBB at 5:20pm Aug11th, On Augat 2:08pm I called Nome *** and spoke with KThe purpose of the call was to check the weather statusShe stated that the flight had already left and she wasn't sure why it left early, but that it departed from UNK and would be to WBB in “5-minutes”She also said I needed to contact *** in Unalakleet, AK to ask more questionsShe continued to state that the agents in UNK sometimes don’t contact the village agentsI contacted the UNK station at 2:22pm and spoke with SS stated it was my fault that I missed the flightHowever, I was not informed or contacted about the flight changesS continued to put fault on me for their businesses errorMy ticket was for 5:20pmAt this time the flight had land
