We are in receipt of the letter advising us of the complaint # *** filed by *** *** and would like to offer the following response.We are the insurance agent and not an auto insurance company and as such we do not settle or pay claimsOur obligation is to our client, who directed us not to
place their auto insurance carrier on notice of this claim but rather to request more information from *** ***After our client reviewed the information they determined that their driver did not strike *** ***’s vehicle and asked us to advise her that they would not pay for damages on a claim they do not believe the are liable for. While we understand that *** *** is upset and disappointed at that decision, she has, we understand, filed a claim for damages through her own auto insurance companyShould they deem it appropriate they can file a claim directly with our client's auto carrier
