We had some communication barriers with this couple, as they speak very little English, and had several names which they used: [redacted] ***, [redacted] **, [redacted] **, and [redacted] ***. We did our best to understand and address their complaints. There was a failure In one of the pipes we installed in... a septic system (we did not build) for the previous home owner, but damage did not occur during the install. In spite of this, we repaired the pipe, no charge, as it was a very costly system. The invoices we Issued to the **'s were for [redacted] **, who called In July of 2015 for a septic tank pumping, and a service call, plus taxes, for $370.00. They paid with a credit card. (See attached copies). Eight months later, they placed a service call for [redacted] **, in March of 2016, requesting a septic cleaning. They were charged $250.00 plus tax, for a total of $270.00, and they paid this with their check #***. (See attached paid invoice copy). Part of the confusion Is that the septic tank cleaning service was ordered under several different names, and we did not make the connection to the address. As a good faith effort to resolve the issues, Hahns Septic will return both payments (Please let us know which name to write the check out to) for a total of $640.00. We will also, upon receipt of a picture indicting the area in dispute, repair any damage caused by us effecting the repair of the broken pipe. We will topsoil and apply grass seed. We will also request the couple agree to not contact us in the future, and sign off in writing, using all names previously given. Thank you, Linda M. Hahn's Septic Tank Service

As a good faith effort and in order to satisfy the customer's original complaint, Hahns Septic dug up the area where the pipe was broken We maintain the break did not occur during installation, if it did, the system would have never worked at all We repaired the pipe, applied top soil and reseeded the disturbed area, and refunded all of the money paid when they called for a septic pumping due to a build up of cooking grease in the line A septic system is not warrantee able due to the possible misuse of the system by the consumerWorkmanship is guaranteed, and the system has been functioning as it was designed since last fall, and we have not heard from the consumer until now As far as we are concerned, we have been more than equitable, and consider the matter closed
