What a horrible time (My first brand new car)This shop was recommended by my insurance providerI was hit by another driver and their insurance was paying for everything, I was the easiest customer possible
They broke my windshield during repairs and tried to make me pay for HALF, what a jokeAppraisal pictures showed no damage to my window, then when I picked up my car, there was a inch crack from underneath my cowel travellng up the middle of my windshield, which they had to take off in order to replace my fenders and hood (pressure cracks with rookies who don't know what they're doing, I am no fool)Then they tried telling me it was due to a chip, blah blah etcNot true because there was NO chip anywhere near it
I had to get my lawyer to write a letter to the Manager of Car Star as he was the one trying to make me pay for their damageThey did end up replacing it, IMPROPERLY I might addNow when it's +degrees outside, my cars inside windows are completely frosted from moisture from an improperly sealed window that whistles when I driveSo now I am pre-heating my car before I drive anywhereUNREAL
I was told by my insurance if I want my window fixed AGAIN that I have to go back to this shopI refuse to return to a place where they tried to rip me offSo my windshield on my brand new car is a write offThanks Car Star
They also left moisture in my front headlights which I am now going to another car repair shop to fix, as well as losing the clips for my cowel
