Haiku Construction, Inc. Reviews (3)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]
Hello [redacted], enclosed are two documents from Parkway Honda assessment of major grievous problems found on June 13, 2015 when I went to [redacted] it was placed on a rack to see if other major problems existed since my phone calls weren't returned from dealership for 2 days.  I became worried about vehicle condition.  Found that front disc brakes down to rotors and scorched on one rotor.  Front end shimmies badly above 65 mph.  I did take vehicle for test drive but didn't exceed 60 mph until going back home since no speed limit around dealership was above 60 mph.  Also found defects in the seals on rear axle, axle seals and pinion seals traction control doesn't work and rear window has a broken hinge.  One hinge was already worked on as a hole was drilled through it with a bolt placed in it.  These are obvious problems when inspected by a licensed mechanic since the supervisor Matt had stated that it was.  Also price of four tires.  I was told by two separate mechanics at two different shops that all four tires should be changed at once so not to endanger all wheel drive/ AWD.  Also my disability statements.  I was lied to and deceived by Parkway's salesman Mike P[redacted], as I was told it was a well maintained fleet vehicle.  I was going to purchase a different vehicle but was swayed by this, had only one previous owner with dealership being number two.  I was stated this in front of a driver that had taken me out there two times, one to test drive and one to pick up vehicle.  Witness-[redacted].  Matt, the supervisors solution was to throw $250 at problem or drive back to Ohio again and have $50 covered.  Throwing $250 at problem doesn't make it go away.  Also driving back to Ohio isn't a solution.  My solution it total money refund or $1000 to repair vehicle here in Pittsburgh.  I began asking for refund on June 11, 2015  to Mike P[redacted] then to supervisor Matt on June 13, 2015 when [redacted] mechanic had the vehicle on the lift rack and I was shown these major problems.  I was told by salesman and thoroughly believed no problems existed.  Now of course oil changes, tune ups maybe a device electronic failure in time is to be expected.  Matt the supervisor stated the vehicle was examined and inspected by their mechanic before released to the sales lot.  This can not be as the mechanics here spotted the problem immediately.  I was also told by Matt no refunds after I signed papers and drove vehicle off the lot on June 13 2015.  I went to Parkway Honda in good faith.  Also I'm disabled with lung cancer and A Fib heart and don't need this stress.. I am to pay on this vehicle for five years with the [redacted] was I given the 7,700.

Purchase of a used Honda Civic Si - 12/2/14.
[redacted] and [redacted] provided me a great car buying experience. The used car I bought was a good value, as-advertised and the process left me feeling good about Parkway Honda. Salesman [redacted] went out of his way to have the car detailed, remove a couple door dings and sheparded me through the buying process. He knows Hondas and offer good technical information not a sales pitch. The dealership prides itself on keeping it simple and building trust with the customers. I witnessed their approach with this car purchase and would highly recommend this business to a friend. 'Top knotch.

I.D. [redacted] I spoke to the customer on the phone and explained our warranty procedure. It is - customer picks up 80% and the dealership picks up 20% of power train drive train. However we require that the work is to be preformed at our location. I asked him to bring in the...

vehicle but he would not accept this help. I only knew about the tires at first, then he came up with a further list of items. I also offered this gentlemen 250.00 dollars to help with what ever items he might continue to experience. This was still no good to the customer. My offer still stands and I would love to look at the vehicle for this gentlemen at our shop and I will be glad to pay for at least 50% of the repairs even though they are not covered in his warranty. This is a 2007 with 82,000 miles. However, our first priority is customer satisfaction we will help this customer. All we ask is a chance to look at it in our service department.  Thank you sincerely, Matt I[redacted] General Sales Manager
