Hail to the Dent

Repairs to the vehicle of *** where done according to the specific way Paintless Dent Repair is performed. We are a Paintless Dent Repair company that works on vehicles that have affected with hail storms. Once a customer agrees on repairs for their vehicles we go over the damage with an insurance adjuster where we then come to an agreement of the severity of the damage and price for repairs. Once an agreement with the insurance happens we move forward on repairs because we already have a contract signed from the customer allowing us to make the repairs. All the repairs approved by the insurance is all we do unless customers needs more repairs apart from what the hail damage is and then they are responsible for any extra work needed. The insurance did not pay for paint like specified before we are a Paintless Dent Repair company that only does paint work when it is impossible for Paintless Dent Repair to be performed. We never mention paint work because it is very expensive to perform and insurance will only pay if it is necessary which in most cases it is not. Any vehicle that has any type of damage has diminished value to it just for the simple case that it is not in perfect condition. Once repairs are completed the value of the vehicle goes back to what it was before the damage especially in Hail Damage because it is only cosmetic damage and not structural damage. All repairs where performed as to what the insurance paid for. The Irving police was only called when the customer did not want to pay the full amount of what the insurance check was and was trying to pay what she decided was the price for repairs of her vehicle. I do not believe she knows how to estimate for hail damage for the simple reason she wanted to pay us less than half of what the insurance adjuster had approved for repair or she simply wanted to get to keep herself the other portion of the check. We have an estimating system to create estimates and that is where we get how much to charge per item that needs to be performed. We deal directly with the insurance adjuster because they are representing their insured customer and not the shop of choice. At no point are we able to over charge for any repair because the insurance adjuster uses the same estimating system as us. The insurance adjuster is the one that approves the price for the repairs and the customer is the one who approves the repairs to be performed on her vehicle. At the moment the customer signs the contract we are able to start repairs to the vehicle as per insurance estimate agreement. Vehicle was fully repaired for the hail damage that it had from the 04-19-2020 storm that passed through Irving. IF you have any questions please feel free to call me.
