We have installed the seals as instructed by the manufacturer under their warranty. The customer wanted the seals installed in the same manner as when the camper was built, which would require removing the entire slide-out. The manufacturer denied covering this method of repair in
warranty. We now have the manufacturer sending a different style of slide seal that can be installed without removing the entire slide-out in a way that should satisfy the customer. Regarding the awning leak, the awning rail was not sealed correctly at the factory when the camper was built and we sealed several places along the awning. The customer did find two additional areas after the first repair that were still letting a small amount of water through. We sealed them both, and water tested the awning and found no additional leaks. We are working to expedite current repairs to accommodate the customer's camping schedule. This is our policy for all of our customers, though we have limited control over how long it takes to process warranty claims through the manufacturer, and parts sometimes take longer than anticipated to arrive to us. We had buffed the unit per manufactures recommendations. When Mr. [redacted] came in to pick up his unit both he and I saw that it looked good. He states when he brought the unit home he parked it under a certain light at night, buff marks are still visible. I sent in a request to the...

manufacturer stating his concern  and requested to have the rear cap painted under warranty. The manufacturer denied the claim. they stated that the color on the rear is not paint but gel coat. therefore nothing further is needed to be done.
