To [redacted] I don't understand why [redacted] wrote this complaint. He was a client of Hair Club for 17 years, in which he signs a yearly contract for 5 custom hair systems and services on them in which he pays a monthly fee. [redacted] was contracted till April **, 2016 in which... he pays 325.00 per month. He decided not to continue without giving me any notice of cancellation, he is required by contract to give me 90 days notice if he was not renewing since we order customized hair systems and let our clients pay monthly. I called [redacted] several times to speak with him about balance as well as sent letters. He did not respond until I hired a collection agency and now he used the BBB to put a complaint in , because I refuse to waive his balance . It is not right what he did, he still as not called , but he took the time to write this complaint. I have been in business for over 20 years and never incurred a complaint like this. I don't think it is right that someone can write a complaint in order to get out of paying a bill. We provided great service and a great product for many years to [redacted] , and I am blown away by his treatment to us for not following a contract or his failure to communicate with us. I reached out to him on Friday Oct [redacted] the day I received this complaint and he still refuses to call me back. The balance is due and unfortunately I need to collect it. I would encourage [redacted] to call me and meet with me to discuss this matter. Like [redacted] said we did nothing wrong except for looking to collect a balance that is due, I don't think that warrants a call to the BBB. Review: Their description of how the service and product would work was not at all correct. Said the hair piece would be glued to my head and my hair would grow thru the bio-matrix and mix in with the piece. Instead they use tape mixed with a adhesive, and my hair did not grow thru it. They claimed they never said my hair would grow thru now. It was coming up along the edges every week and had go in for weekly services for repairs. I was told I would only have come in every 4-8 weeks for a full service, which costs additional money. But with the consent repairs needed I would have be there every week. When I told them about that they said I would need make minor repairs and glue it back down myself. That was never established when the original discussion about how it would work took place. I told them I would give it a try and see how it works from the start and if it not working I would want try something different. They did not tell me there was no other options and did to establish that refund would be against policy. After telling them how unhappy I was with it they are very pushy to make you keep it, and not willing to try correct the issues really. When told them to take it off, I was told it would be additional $50 to remove it, which I told them them to remove it and I not paying them anything more. I already paid $2000 and I had the hair for only a month. I asked to work out some kinda of at least partial refund in which I told it was against policy. when asked to speak to someone above them they state they are a franchise and there's no one above them. Which is not true since they still have report to hairclub headquarters as a franchise. But if there is no one above them then they can alter the "policy". I still trying to get in touch with headquarters but not getting much response as of now. They are not at all focused on customers happiness just scamming them out of money.Desired Settlement: I would like at least 75% of my initial cost as I only had the hair for 1 month which would be $1500. I will never go back there again with such horrible business practices they have.
