The customer has been responsed to. The dates provided were inaccurate. Her claims of "shady", "illegal", and "dishonest" are simply her retaliating due to my choice to no longer accept appointments from her or anyone associated with her. When I told a friend of hers I would not be able to schedule... an appointment next month as a new client, I began receiving texts, emails, and finally, this complaint. This clients claim of the hair being "synthetic" is 100% false. I previously asked for the stylists information who gave her the false advice. There was no response. I run a small business from a salon built off the side of mine and my husbands second home. The main residence we are currently renting to a friend, who I met as a client 4 years ago and have become great friends with. The service and product (Indian remy hair) I provide is 100% honest and legal. I practice strict financial organization, and have years of business tax history. I have my state business license, cosmetology license, and clear detailed information on each and every client I accept into my salon. When a client becomes difficult to work with, whether it's her personally or through those she brings with her, I believe that continuing a professional relationship is no longer acceptable. They would be better suited with another stylist. In in this case, she chose to have have her first experience with extensions placed a week before going on a trip to Mexico. Due to her lack of care, swimming in the ocean, and overall mistreatment, a section of the extensions came loose. This is definitely known to happen with ALL types and methods of extensions, which is why they are a high maintenance service. Touch up appointments are needed occasionally, as are move-ups, depending entirely on each individual clients situation: their natural texture, home products used, how they are cared for, natural hair growth, oil production, etc. I strongly believe this complaint to be strictly made out of anger due to me no longer accepting her or her friends as clients. In fact, it was written only hours after I told the "leader" of their group (the first client I met, who refferred this particular girl), that I felt uncomfortable having any of them in my salon. In saved, backed up texts, I have her begging to stay as a client, saying how much she loves the hair and the service, and that "this isn't fair."I have all texts, emails, voicemails, recordings from each appointment, pictures of the before/after, and client contracts from the first appointments available if needed. I have needed to block all communication from this particular "group" due to negative, unnecessary texts. Because my business has extremely limited time slots available, I only accept 1 new client weekly. As said, if this client becomes difficult to work with, it is better for her and for me that she go to a different salon. I have wonderful clients of all ages and backgrounds, most of whom I have been working with for many years. These claims are false.
