My name is [redacted] , and I assist [redacted] of Hair Philosophy with some of her small business matters I was recently informed of the unfortunate situation that Ms [redacted] is currently involved in with one of her previous clients, [redacted] , in regards to a charge dispute for services rendered in NovemberThe challenging part of this process has been dealing with the [redacted] Inc company, which offers third party services for payment to be accepted by a small device attached to iPhonesTheir customer service department is only reachable via email, and their delayed responses and unprofessional practices have been the source of this situation's unsuccessful resolution Ms [redacted] has made separate claims to the [redacted] Inc company informing them that she would like the money to be refunded to Mrs [redacted] , only for them to continually disregard her requests and continue to hold the funds in questionI have brought this matter directly to their attention but have not yet received a response after inquiring days ago I have also personally reached out to Mrs [redacted] in trying to find a way to successfully resolve this situation, in which she seemed mutually interested in doing soShe also said once the situation is resolved she would drop this complaintI can provide all email communication aforementioned to you for your reference as well My latest email with Mrs [redacted] was sent earlier today offering to directly mail her a check for the full amount requestedWe are hoping to receive a response soon in order to successfully resolve this situation immediately Please feel free to contact myself, or Ms [redacted] directly with any questions or concernsAlso, if you would like to be given the email correspondence between all parties involved I am happy to send that over Thank you for your assistance regarding this matter, I look forward to resolving this together soon Best Regards, [redacted] Small Business Consultant

Review: [redacted], the proprietor of Hair Philosophy, a salon in La Jolla, California, purchased hair extensions from her vendor to attach to my natural hair. Ms. [redacted] warrantied the extensions for one year. After having the extensions for only six days, I noticed that they were unusually dry and brittle and contacted Ms. [redacted] about the defects. Upon visiting the salon so that she could inspect the extensions, she agreed that they were defective, stating at the inspection that she didn't understand why the extensions were so prematurely dry and coarse. Ms. [redacted] removed the extensions, kept them, and through a subsequent text stated that she would refund the cost, which was $500.00. After a couple of weeks of not hearing from her, I contested the charges on my credit card. Only subsequent to contesting the cost of the extensions did Ms. [redacted] finally respond, now stating that the extensions were not defective and that I could pick them up.Desired Settlement: I do not have any confidence in Ms. [redacted]'s services or products, and therefore do not want her to touch my natural hair again. I want my $500.00 back for a defective hair product that Ms. [redacted] purchased from her vendor and warrantied for a year.
