On behalf of HRA Buffalo, thank you for allowing me to respond to this unreasonable complaint.On 5/1/2019 Mr *** received a free consultation and was advised he would require approximately1800 grafts transplanted after a discussion on reasonable expectations. He was initially quoted $9,000 for thiscosmetic procedure and was even provided a $500 military discount and subsequently charged $8500.He was provided a full consent form prior to the procedure that outlines the risks and benefits of this particularprocedure, reasonable expectations and outcome (signed consent form included with this response.) Part of thisconsultation and consent is full understanding results often take up to 12-16 months for full growth.After the procedure he was provided post operative instruction, both verbally and in writing, was provided andwas even discharged with the doctors personal cell phone number for close follow up and questions.He never returned for his post operative check ups at day 4, 30 and 90 days. He never reached out to this officeabout his concerns and it was only after Google review had this office learned of his displeasure. We immediatelyreached out to him and offered to overlook his post operative noncompliance and offered to assist in any waywithout cost to him (even additional hair grafting) (photocopied reply attached.)We obviously regret this unfortunate situation and have offered to re-assure him in every possible clinical way. Hewas not compliant with follow up instructions and cannot be sure he took the prescribed treatment postoperatively. We have never seen him since this procedure and cannot assess his growth and he made thiscomplaint many months prior to the full growth expectation timeline.It Is the position of HRA that his procedure was performed with a high level of competency and the medical andlegal requirements therein have been provided.
