This website is st. Save your time, save your money. Avoid the hassel and shop elsewhere. I ordered ONE bow and paid for 3-5 day shipping so that I could receive it in time for a christmas present exchange in my cheer team. All I received was a order confirmation, but no additional info on the status of my order for about a week and a half. I emailed them twice and received no response until my third (nastier) email. Hairbowsgalore should just be shut down because they are thieves and their service is crap.

I placed an order with hair bows galore for 18 custom bows for my cheerleaders. The order was placed and paid for in full with a credit card on September 5th. Our district office places the orders and I wanted to make sure that they had the order correct so I placed multiple calls over the next few weeks. None of the calls were answered. I left messages that they said they would return in 24-48 hours. None of the messages were returned. After several weeks of this I decided to try sending an e-mail to see if they would respond to an e-mail. I sent an e-mail on September 21st. They responded asking who the order was placed under. I replied with the name of our school. I didn't hear back from them so on September 25th I again sent an e-mail inquiring about the first e-mail. Later that day I received the only response from them that I received the whole time. It read:

Hi,

We found the order. It was under [redacted]. It was placed on 9/5 and it's in process. It will ship this weekend. When he placed the order he selected the 20 - 25 business day processing time. We had other options available.

Once the bows ship you will receive an email confirmation.

That was on a Monday. A week later I still hadn't received a shipping confirmation e-mail so I sent a quick e-mail asking if the bows had shipped. No reply. On Wednesday, I was contacted by our district office that that morning (October 4th) they had received an e-mail that the bows had shipped. My girls were excited. It was homecoming that week and our last home game the next week so we were hoping to receive them in time to wear them. Here it is October 26th and we have not received the bows or any communication from the company in spite of numerous e-mails requesting a tracking number or an update on the status of the order. Our season is now over. I only wish I would have researched the company a little better before placing the order because I would have seen that multiple people have had a very similar experience to mine. Little or no communication, calls and e-mails not returned, promises that the order shipped but no proof that the bows were ever actually shipped. At this point, I have requested a full refund of $171.77 from the company. We are waiting to receive our credit card statement for this month to see if they actually refunded us the money. Do not use this company. They shouldn't be in business if they can't treat their customers better.

Items not shipped according to their times listed on their website and confirmation email. Calls and emails not returned. Ordered solid ribbon by the yard on 9/2/13. Website and confirmation email states it will ship in 2-4 business days. Their website also stated that if items are needed for a specific date, to state that with the order and they will accommodate. I stated that I needed my product by 9/10/13. As of Monday 9/9/13, items have not shipped. Called the number listed on website many times on Monday during business hours of 10am - 3pm CST, as stated on website, with no answer. Left voicemail inquiring about order status. Wrote email as well on Monday 9/9/13 inquiring about order status and received an auto response stating that someone will respond within 24-48 hours. I found later that the website also states that voicemails and emails will be responded to within 24-48 hours. It has now been 6 days since I placed my order and over 48 hours since I have called and emailed with no answer. Nothing has shipped yet. I have continued to call the number listed on the website during their business hours with no answer. Desired SettlementI just want my product ASAP. I would like for this company to adhere to their guidelines that have been set on the website and order confirmations.

Was told I would receive shipment by certain date. I paid extra for delivery. Product arrived 12 shipping days after suppose delivery date.I placed an order for 16 cheerbows on 9-12 and requested that bows be delivered by 9-23. Order [redacted]. Bows were $151.84, paid additional $21.95 for US Priority Shipping Total= $173.79. Sent several emails and left voicemails asking about status. I finally received an email on 9-15 that they were in receipt of my voicemail and would make sure I had my order by the 23rd. After not receiving bows when promised I emailed, left voicemails several times a day. Never heard any response until I received a shipment notification on 9-28 that the ordered had been shipped. AS of 10/5 I still had not received the bows and only after leaving a voicemail on 10/5 that I was going to stop payment I received an email with the shipping tracking number. I finally received the bows on 10/6. Postage and [redacted] tracking shows the package wasnt shipped out until 10/3 and was regular mail not the Priority that I paid for.Desired SettlementThis is stated on their website:[redacted]Need your order by a certain date? We can accomodate most orders. Simply put the date you need the order by in the comments section of your order. If you've already ordered, please email us at [redacted] and we will be happy to assist you. Expedite fees may apply depending on how soon the order is needed. We will contact you if we are unable to accomodate your request.[redacted]Once you've placed your order, we do not allow for refunds or cancellations. Therefore, I believe I upheld my part as a customer. I emailed, left voicemails and paid extra for Priority delivery. These bows are useless to me now being as I needed them by the 9-23 and didn't receive them I had to purchase the materials to make the bows myself. I would like a full refund.Business Response We have already responded to this customer via [redacted]. We will not be issuing her a refund and allowing her to keep merchandise free of charge as she is requesting.

I ordered a custom bow for my daughter early December for a Christmas present. I had requested delivery for Christmas and my order was submitted in sufficient time to accommodate this as per their website. I did not receive the bow for Christmas and after writing to the company several times was told their embroidery machine broke but the bow could be made and shipped within the week after Christmas. I agreed to go ahead with the order and 10 days later received an email advising me my bow was shipped. 2 weeks to the date of this email I wrote to the company once again that my bow had yet to be received in the mail. 2 days later I received an email telling me my order was cancelled and a refund processed with no explanation. I will need to check my bank records to see if the refund was processed. Needless to say what a disappointing waste of time dealing with this company, never again and I do not recommend them!!!! Ordered on July 7th. Asked for status on August 8th. Received response on 8/11 saying it would be another week as a component was on back order. Called and emailed September 1st with no response. Filed Paypal and CC charge back on September 3rd and company refunded my money to Paypal. Still waiting on credit card charge back as order was split into 2 orders for payment. ","neg-2

Charged for bows. No communication. No bows. Refunded rather than shippedal product.Bows ordered months ago for my daughters' birthdays. Unreasonable amount if time passed with no communication or response from company in regard to order, though the payment was already processed. When finally contacted, rather than ship bows, company wordlessly refunded the money. Unprofessional and disappointing, especially for my daughters who were to recieve the bows for their birthday AND for an important cheer competition they were in this month.Desired SettlementOrder processed in a reasonable amount of time and product shipped as requested.Business Response As the customer stated a refund has been issued. We will not be shipping free merchandise. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)No one asked for free merchandise. What we did ask for was for a level of professionalism and reasonable communication, neither of which were present during this transaction. A credit card was charged months before the final email stating the charged would be refunded. The consumer did not request a refund, the consumer requested a response as to why they had been charged but had not recieve a shipment nor a response in an unreasonable amount of time, even after being informed by the consumer that legal action would be taken if there was no response nor product shipped. Bows Galore is an irresponsible and grossly unprofessional company, who even in their response to the Revdex.com offers snide responses so as, "we will not be shipping free merchandise." I will reiterate, the consumer did not request free merchandise, the consumer requested the product that was paid for to be shipped in a reasonable amount of time post the receiving of funds.

Order placed on December 16th. Debit Card charged. Product was never delivered and no response from customer service after several attempts to contactI placed an order on this website, hairbows galore.com, on December 16th. Order #XXXXX. My debit card was charged and I have not received any correspondence since. I have made several attempts to contact with no response. I believe this retailer is fraudulent.Desired SettlementRefund or delivery of the product purchased Business Response The customer order was cancelled and refunded on 1/14/16. The customer should verify the refund with their bank because the order had already been cancelled and refunded. The customer should verify with the bank how long it takes for them to issue the credit. The customer also received the refund confirmation email when it was cancelled and refunded on the 14th. Consumer Response Good morning The retailer finally issued a refund on Friday when I threatened to inform my financial institution. Thanks for your help.Fred H[redacted]

Did not receive refund of products not received.July 28, 2015 placed order for cheer bows including rhinestones to be included on part of the order. After communication via email with company regarding rhinestones, they stated "If we can't do it (add the rhinestones) I will issue you a refund for the rhinestones." We were charged and paid for the rhinestones in the amount of $168.00. We did not receive the rhinestones and never received the refund for this amount. I emailed the company on two occasions to inquire about the refund and received no response.We would like the refund of the $168.00 rhinestone charge.Desired SettlementA full refund of the $168.00 rhinestone charge.

I placed an order with this company on November 13th. Yes it was later in the day and I understand that the order was processed the next day. It also states on their web site that orders may take 5 to 15 business days to process excluding holidays and weekends. No where on their site says holidays for the 2014 year. So by that I considered those to be like regular holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years ext). To my calculations that should have put my order out by December 5th. I called and emailed Dec 4th to assure my order was going to be shipped the 5th and never received a reply. Still have yet to hear from them after phone calls Monday Dec 8 as well as the 9th. Even after consideration of possibly taking off black Friday that still should have put my order out the 8th. I am very displeased with them at this point just due to them not returning any emails, and or phone messages that were left. Finally received my shipping email Tuesday Dec 9th that order has shipped which is at this point 16 business (if you consider black Friday a holiday) days not the 5-15 like stated. I would have been ok with the full 15 days if I would have received either phone call or email saying "we are working on your order and it will be the full length of time stated", or something. So there for due to lack of communication on their end I give them an F","neg-4

I ordered 25 bows from this company on 10/27/15. I had carefully read their time disclaimer and thought that since our cheer season did not start until January 4 that ordering bows in October would be sufficient time. Was I ever wrong. A month went by, and I had heard nothing from the company about my order. I emailed the company to inquire about the status of my order the week of Thanksgiving and was told the bows would ship out on 11/30. Another three weeks went by and I had still not received the bows, nor received any contact from the company about a possible delay. I emailed them again and was told that the ribbon I wanted them to use was out of stock, which delayed the shipment. I was told they would ship out on 12/19. I came back to school on 12/28 and there were no bows. I emailed and called them, but received no response. I called and emailed on 12/29, and 12/30. I received no response. Finally on 1/2, I received a terse email that stated the bows were shipping out on that day. When 1/11 finally rolled around and I still had not seen the bows, nor heard from the company, I had the other coach contact them. She called and emailed them on 1/11 and 1/12 and received no response. I finally sent an angry email on the 13th, and received a one sentence reply saying my order would be refunded. I never received the bows, and although they did give me a refund (which surprised me), I was so angry at their lack of communication. They basically lied to me FOUR times about when the bows would ship out. I WILL NEVER use this company ever again and I am telling EVERYONE I can think of about my awful experience. Never received order and cannot get anyone to return my email/phone call for an update. I placed an order for 35 cheerbows on 12/11/15 at 7:54 PM EST.Order # XXXXX. Bows were $159.00 paid with a credit card for North Forsyth Cheerleading Program. We waited through Christmas break never receiving an email confirming our order or showing processing. Sent several emails and left voicemails asking about status. I sent emails on 1/2/16, 1/11/16 with screen shots of my order when it was placed. Phone calls on 1/11/16 and 1/14/16 leaving details as to my order and the need for an update as our season is coming to an end. Calling SEVERAL times with no ability to get ANYONE on the phone. I messaged their facebook page through messenger on 1/14/16Also coming across several other angry customers with the same problem. It CLEARLY states on their website: "We respond to all emails and voicemails within 24 - 72 hours (EXCLUDING holidays and weekends)." I feel as though I have be patient enough just simply waiting on an update for my order (WHICH HAS BEEN PAID FOR)!Desired SettlementThis is from their website on shipping: All orders are processed in 5 to 15 BUSINESS DAYS (excluding weekends and holidays). From there, they have had my order (not including weekends and Christmas/New Year holidays) 20-22 dayswhich I believe is well beyond the time frame stated on their website. Because I have contacted them at length to no success, I would like my money refunded OR my bows shipped immediately with contact that they are shippingas I have received NOTHING at this point. Ordered 11/30/2015. Still have not received order despite notification 1/2/2016 that my order was shipped. No response to repeated contact attempts.Placed order 11/30/2015 for 10 cheer bows. On 12/1/2015 I sent an email asking if it was possible to receive the bows by 12/11/2015. Email response was "Yes, we will make sure you receive them on time". On 12/12/2015 still had not received the bows and sent an email to the company inquiring. On 12/15/15 and 12/17/2015 sent additional emails inquiring about the bows. Also left a voicemail message around 12/17/15. Website says they return calls with 48 hrs of receipt of call. Sent yet another email on 12/21/15 and complained of their horrible customer service. Received email from company the evening of 12/21/15 saying they had received my voicemail and one of the ribbons needed to make my bows was on backorder but "The ribbon is set to arrive one day this week". I responded 12/27/15 with "Hello,Just checking in to see if the ribbon was received. Please respond so we know when to expect our shipment.Thank you,". There was no response. I sent the same email on 12/30/15. No response. On 1/2/2016 I received an automated email message that my order had shipped via the [redacted] On 1/3/2016 I sent an email message stating "Thank you!Could you please send me the tracking number? We have a game this Friday and would like to be sure I get the shipment."No response. I sent another email message on 1/7/2016. No response. I have called the listed contact number repeatedly but there is nothing but a recorded message asking to leave a message or enter the extension of the person you are trying to reach. I sent another email 1/13/2016 as well as left a voicemail message asking for an update and the tracking number so I could locate my package. In my voicemail I stated I would be contacting the Revdex.com with a complaint.Desired SettlementI want my order and it should be free.Business Response The customers order was cancelled and refunded on the 9th of this month. The refund has already been issued. This has already been communicated to the customer and her bank can verify the refund was issued.
