I received service and was presented a sale of $50 no tip was given due to poor service they billed my card $65 after I signed and left the store this occurred 1/3/2015 after I signed for a 50 dollar charge I was notified by my bank that 65 dollars had been charged to my card and only 50 dollars was due for service , they added 15 more dollars after the transaction Desired Settlementrefund my 15 dollars over charge and don't ever cheat customers out of fraudulent charges just for my trouble I would like a complete refund because I have had to go through the process of stopping a fraudulent chargeBusiness Response I ma deeply saddened to be writing to you today in reference to Case# XXXXXXXX. We have been in business for 36 years and never once have been through this. We are about our clientele like they're our family. We try to be up-front with everyone, and provide top of the line services as a standard. I accept nothing less from our stylists. Our clients experience with us is everything to our business.On Saturday January 3, 2015 a gentleman entered our business with his wife to get her her haircut and eyebrows waxed. There wee greeted as they came in; she was escorted to the back for her services. her husband waited in the lobby area for her in the front of the salon. She received a shampoo and eyebrow wax from myself. Another stylist cut her hair after a 15 minute consultation on what she wanted specifically. She explained that she wanted it cut short (shoulder length) to make it more manageable for her. She and hairstylist decided on what style would work best for her needs and proceeded. WE laughed and had a great time with her, as we pride ourselves on providing impeccable services for all our customers. Her services were finished with a blow-out style, which we was extremely pleased with. She was then escorted back to the lobby to pay for her services.Our receptionist mistakenly ran her husband's credit card for only $50 (the price of her wash, cut and style). Instead of voiding the transaction and running it again for the correct amount of $65 ($50 haircut plus $15 for the eyebrow was), which she should have done, she adjusted the original transaction to reflect the proper amount. His transaction never should have been adjusted that way, and this issue has since been addressed with all employees. she did however; tell him she was doing so. I'm sorry that our receptionist made the mistake she did. We all have short comings, and we strive to better ourselves at Hairlines Salon.As for the accusation of the fraudulent charges, there was no tip received and the charges were for services rendered to his wife that day. We do our very best every day to make our customers happy. He was very disrespectful to our staff the entire time he was here despite the fact that we were welcoming and polite to him and his wife. He even tole one stylist,' Don't talk to me!", when she asked if he was having a nice day. He apparently was not.I understand that this miscommunication is partly our fault, and it will not happen again. As the business owner I must stand behind my employees. the client received the services she requested, was very pleased with the results, and only paid for what was done. I cannot provide a refund for a service that was done properly and in a timely fashion. I will not return to this business again and feel as this is a dishonest reply from the Owner, my bank corrected the over charge because the receipt did not agree with the charge
