I recently purchased two of this company's SafeRacks systems The products seem to be good, but the bag in which they place the hardware (nuts and bolts) is weak and had torn open inside the box during shipping, and many of the parts had fallen out of the box Of note, the outside of the box did not appear damaged Thinking this was certainly something the company manufacturing this product would be interested in quickly and easily resolving, I called the company to obtain replacement parts as these are heavy and I would hate to have to return them The person I spoke to told me that the retailer I bought the product from was not official Interestingly, she told me the retailer was not official before I had even told her who it was I was told I had to return the product to the retailer I purchased it from to get a refund as SafeRacks would not provide the missing bolts Returning such a heavy product after it has been opened is, too say the least, difficult and expensive Based on this experience, I would not purchase their products unless I had an affidavit from the retailer I was purchasing from that they are in fact fully authorized by SafeRacks (yes, I am being sarcastic on this as it is commercially ridiculous to demand that a purchaser of a product costing less than $from a retailer that sells lots of these racks if they are an authorized retailer) Their unwillingness to back up their products and amateurish behavior towards the purchaser of their products would be embarrassing to a legitimate company The nonsense that was spouted at me by their customer service person suggested that the company simply does not care about the customer
