Hakky guaranteed they will clean my suede shoes without damage. When I got the shoes they were discolored and he told me it was my fault.I dropped the shoes off tuesday janauary 12 and I picked up the shoes january 15. The shoes were a black suede type of leather and I asked the owner multiples times if he can clean them abd he guarteed he could without damaging them because they are limited edition pumas that are not sold anymore. I got the shoes back friday the 15th and they are a blueish purple. he then told me it wasnt his fault all he did was use a over the counter cleaner.Desired SettlementI am seeking for my shoes to b replaced.Business Response I didn't hear complaints from her and see her shoes after her picking up her shoes. I always mention my customers who want cleaning suede shoes, I can not guarantee the shoes. Of course, I told her like that. I have done this business for 20years, sometimes ,during the cleaning the suede shoes, some problems can be happened. That's why I can not guarantee. I made the customer make a decision to clean or not. That is all I can say about this matter. Thank you.

Review: Hakky's charged my credit card for a service that has not yet been satisfactorily rendered. I dropped off three pairs of shoes for service. One pair to repair the heel, one pair for cleaning and the last pair to replace the entire sole of the shoe. The agreed upon price was $47. When my husband returned to the store to pick up the shoes, he found that the store had repaired the heel of the first pair of shoes satisfactorily, did not thoroughly clean the second pair, and repaired only the heel portion of the third pair instead of the entire sole as originally requested. When my husband pointed out that the agreed services were not completed satisfactorily, the employee claimed that he had done what was asked of him. My husband asked that he at least complete the re-soling of the third pair of shoes but the employee demanded the full payment and refused to discuss the issue further and suggested I personally return to the store because I was the one who dropped off the shoes. My husband tried to compromise but the Hakky's store employee has limited spoken English and refused to discuss the issue and resolve it amicably so he had to leave the store. Before I had a chance to return to the store (I was in the hospital), the store charged my credit card, making this an unauthorized credit card charge but, they have not yet returned our shoes. It should also be noted that our invoice does not clearly itemize the price of each shoe repair.Desired Settlement: I would like Hakky's to complete cleaning the second pair of shoes and finish re-soling the third pair of shoes or alternatively, return all three pairs of shoes and charge for only the re-soling of one pair of shoes which is the only service that was completely satisfactorily.

Review: I dropped off my new shoes to Hakky shoe repair store (inside the [redacted] Mall sometime between September 20 and 21) to have them stretched length wise by half size. At the shop I was told that they can not stretch length wise, but they can stretch the width of the shoe to which I have replied that I dont have problem with my shoes width wise. The store person suggested that they could try to make it wide and see what will happen to which I have agreed. I paid the repair fee and left the store to pick my shoes up sometimes after September 23. When the store repair person suggested to stretch the width, he did not tell me it might cause a damage to my new shoes, did not warn/mention that there is even a possibility of any kind of damage. If he did warn me or mention about possible damage, I would have decided by myself to take this risk or no. On September 29 I went to pick up my shoes and found out that me new shoes was damaged permanently. The inside leather part where the stitches go were ripped off by approximately an inch and the outer leather part where the stitches go were ripped by 1/3 inch.

The owner is not willing to refund the permanent damages he has caused to my brand new item. He is willing to fix, unfortunately, the damages caused are on front side, in the middle of the shoe going from toes up to ankle area, and for that reason the fixed part will last for a day of wearing and after will be permanently not wearable at all.Desired Settlement: Would like to get a refund since the damages were caused to my brand new item.
