I went out to Mr [redacted] 's home on October 21, for the initial consultationMs [redacted] stated that he would like his pet door installed into his glassAt that time, I advised him that the particular location that he had selected in his sun room would be difficult to install and I wasn't sure if it could be doneAfter taking a $deposit, I ordered the glassWhen it arrived, I went back out to attempt to do the installationOnce I was there and started working on his door, I realized that with this particular glass door, the glass could not be removedI then, had a third party company who is Revdex.com accredited ( [redacted] ***) come out and verify the situationAfter [redacted] from [redacted] agreed it could not be installed there he also advised the customer that a pet door would not be able to be installed in that location and that no damage had been done to Mr [redacted] 's doorI then gave Mr [redacted] a $cash refund on the spot for his initial deposit on the glassTypically this is a non-refundable desposit, but for this situation, we wanted him to have a refund for his troubleThen Mr [redacted] asked if we could replace the flaps on an exisiting pet door in his homeI told him that would be no trouble but I didn't have any flaps with me and so I scheduled an appointment for the flap replacementI would like to add that installing through the glass is my most common pet door installation and I am extremely experienced with themHowever, occasionally a situation arises where it just simply isn't possiblyI am sorry to hear that Mr [redacted] had a bad experience but unfortunately there is nothing further that I can do for his installationAlso, any issue of damage to his door was not brought up until after we had left his property and he shared his grievences with the Revdex.comMr [redacted] is welcome to a free set of flaps for his pet door, but it would be best if he contacted a different local dealer to service his door
