[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:January 24, 2017** [redacted] Revdex.com Serving Metro Washington DC and Eastern PennsylvaniaK StNW, 10th FloorWashington, D.C20005-Re: Complaint ID #: [redacted] Subject: Champion Quality Construction, LLCDear [redacted] :This letter is in response to the terse reply to the above-referenced complaint finally filed by MrColin Corkum on behalf of Champion Quality Construction, LLC (hereinafter, (“CQC”).We find CQC’s offer to resolve this matter unacceptable We have done everything required of us to comply with the terms of this contract Specifically, in accordance with the terms of our contract, we timely tendered eight thousand dollars, ($ 8,100.00) for the construction of a custom deck to be built and affixed to our home As the complete contact price was $11,000.00, we have paid more than half of the charges.CQC has failed to honor the terms of this agreement This is the first communication from CQC since October, We signed the contract May 14, with the understanding that the deck would be completed by the close of days, or June 23, 2016, at the latest For eight months, we have been - without a deck;- with an un-useable backyard filled with safety hazards; and- with unsightly holes in our dining room.This project has negatively impacted the use and enjoyment of our home both inside and out for eight months The unsightly partial structure has also negatively impacted our relationship with our neighbors who complain that it also impedes their use and enjoyment of their back yards Further, the incomplete and exposed structure is in violation of the architectural covenants and guidelines of our residential community making us responsible for fines from our community association Therefore, to resolve this matter we demand that CQC immediately do the following: Complete the construction of the deck by March 15th; Remove trash from the construction; Reimburse us for all expenses we have incurred that exceed the costs of materials; Pay the fine, if any, imposed by the community association for violating the community’s architectural guidelines; Pay for an independent inspector to evaluate the safety of the structure upon completion; and Pay for our attorney’s fees.We hope that this matter can be resolved without legal action Sincerely, [redacted] & [redacted] ***Regards, [redacted] & [redacted] ***
