Half Price Auto Repair

I took my truck over for an alignment because I just bought new tires but before I bought them I spray painted everything under the truck black just for looks. After I took it to them they said they couldn’t do it because it needs a cross bar. I said fine so I drove back home on my home it started to shake badly it had what they call a death roll. So I called them and told them about they said bring it back so I did and they said they didn’t cause it because they never touched it how ever since the bottom was all painted black you can see where someone tried to adjust the alignment bar. After going back and forth with them they said they will look into it and said it was because of the cross bar and also it needed a hub assembly because there was a lot of play in the tire or in other words the driver side tire was wobbly so he said they would fix it by replacing the hub assembly so after 2weeks of it being at there shop. I finally get a call and they said they replace some wheel bearings and not the assembly like originally stated. It still had the death wobble he said it’s because of the cross bar and they cant fix that. So I was charged for the bearings and still has the problem mind you it didn’t have this issue before I took it for the alignment. I took it to another shop to get a second opinion and they said its the bushings that needed to be replaced how ever they shook the driver side wheel and it was still wobbly so what ever they did didn’t fix the wheel from wobbling. I was told by the shop that gave me the second opinion that the wobble is caused by the ball joints and not the hub assembly. At this time I feel like they just took advantage of me after they lied about not touching my truck at all as far as the alignment goes they did fix my ac as I also asked them to but that stopped working to too it blows hot air this shop was my go to shop when it was called Glendale auto repair but the new owners are nothing like the previous ones i

I took my vehicle to this establishment on Nov 8th & what they said was wrong with it & the price they quoted was not what they are now trying to charge me. They added parts that I did not authorize & I was not able to get the old parts that they claim they fixed back. The repair was quoted on the issue of lifters & it was originally at $2500. Now the bill is at over $4500 for other things that they did that was not on the original complaint when I took the vehicle in. They supposedly replaced parts that they stated were bad & I asked for the original parts back & they could not provide them as they stated they did a deep clean of the shop that day. When the vehicle was brought in it was for one thing & all of a sudden all these other things just happened to go bad including a dead battery which he could not provide the old one & first stated that it was dead a week ago & upon speaking to him he stated it was replaced 2 weeks ago during the time he had text me stating he was going to start it up & take it out for a test drive on Nov 22nd. I asked about the warranty on the battery & he stated that it has one through Auto zone but there is nothing on the invoices that he sent me that confirmed it. I went to Auto zone to get a copy of it for my records & the manager stated that they don't even sell that type of battery. I went to another auto zone closer to the shop the truck was repaired at & spoke with another manager who stated the same thing that Auto zone does not sell the type of battery that was put into this vehicle. I asked the repair shop about the warranty of what they did & was told by Adrian that the manufacturer GM has their warranty for a year the repair shop does it for an additional 2 years on the labor. On the original invoice there is no warranty. I went back to the shop where they just typed in the words warranty. The truck is still not working correctly which I let Adrian know about the issues that were now happening with it smoking and no power.
