April 6th, 2017Dear [redacted] ,Thank you for trying the Telikin computerWe are sorry to hear it did not work for youWe do have almost 70,happy customers, but we understand that the Telikin computer may not meet everyone's needsSpecifically, the computer was not built for the blind It was built for most seniors that have reduced vision and it uses larger, more clear fonts on the displaysIn response to your complaint, here is my feedback:1) We always offer a 60-day money back guaranteeIf the computer did not meet your needs, you could have returned it for a full refund when you initially purchased it years ago.2) We also have a larger and clearer display modelThe 22"computerIt is not only larger but it is more clear because it uses a capacitive touch screen display.3) We get many complements on our support staffI usually get two to three letters a week thanking the staff for their helpThey go out of their way to help customers however, cannot change the computer to do something that was not designed to do.4) We can offer you an exchange for a 20" computer that has an HDMI outputThis is not a new computer but a used computer in exchange for your used computerThe HDMI output can be connected to a large screen TVYou can purchase a 40" large screen TV for less than $from [redacted] .This might be a better solution but I cannot guarantee it will workI do not know the extent of your vision impairment, I am not a doctor and we are not in the business of building systems for the blindI hope this can help you.Fred ACEO

June 9, 2017Dear *** ***,• We have determined that the computer was not hacked and that there is no virus or spyware on it.• The Telikin computer uses a ***-based Operating System not ***.• Since the Telikin computer does not use a *** Operating System, *** Support is not
able to access or affect the computer.• We highly recommend that the customer contact their credit card company to dispute the trans- action.We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this customer’s complaintWe have reviewed the written complaint provided by the Revdex.com serving Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania, which was submitted on June 4, and received by us on June 5, 2017.First, with regards to the protection on the Telikin computerThe computer uses a ***-based protected operating system, which prevents the downloading of viruses, spyware, malware, or hacksHowever, what the customer experienced was not hacking but instead a scam popupScams like this often disguise themselves as advertisements or news stories and when clicked on they bring up a popup claiming that the computer is hacked and any information on the computer will be lost or stolen if the computer is shut down unless the user calls the phone number providedNone of the claims of the popup are true and the reason that they stress not shutting down the computer is because they are fully aware that that will make the popup go away and they will not be able to get the user’s credit card information, which is ultimately their goalThey also regularly claim to be *** as most computer use a *** operating system, but the Telikin, as stated before, does notThese types of scams are becoming more and more prevalent on the internet and while they are irritating to come across, no amount of anti-virus protection can prevent them from appearing as they are built into a website and not a hack or virus.As the customer stated in this complaint, he did call our customer support line and speak with an agent about this and asked to have a supervisor call him over the weekend, which we didBoth the support agent and supervisor attempted to explain to the customer that he did not speak with *** and that he was scammedThey assured him that his computer was not hacked and that scam popups like this can occur on any computer, not just the TelikinThe supervisor even did a *** search of the phone number that the customer had called when he thought he was calling ***, and the results confirmed that the phone number was a known scam phone numberThe supervisor asked the customer if he had called his credit card company to dispute the charge, but the customer said he did not.At this point, we offer the customer our sincerest sympathies that he was a victim of this type of scam, but there is nothing wrong with the computer so we cannot compensate the customer for the money that he paid to these scammersWe highly recommend that the customer call his credit card company and dispute the charge so that he can be reimbursed.I have included a screen shot of the call logs of both the support agent and supervisor, screen shot showing the *** search results related to the phone number the customer called, and a screen shot of ***’s website that acknowledges that these scams are common and that *** is investigating them.We hope that this information will help resolve this disputePlease let me know if there are any further questions or concerns.Sincerely,Jeffrey BTechnical Operations Lead

complaint. We received notice of this
complaint from the Revdex.com on November 4th, 2015.
There was a delay receiving the complaint due to an internal employee
leaving our company
As outlined in the Revdex.com submission, [redacted] was being
charged $for monthly Internet usage on the dates of 8/15/2015, 9/15/2015,
and 10/15/This $cost covers 3GB of cellular data usage per month. The reason for these charges was that [redacted]
never sent the hotspot back after indicating her desire to cancel the service
on 7-6-2015. She was instructed to send
the hotspot back on this date so that further billing could be ceased, as is
recorded in the call log of this same date which was entered by the support
agent she spoke with
We suggested that [redacted] cancel was consistently going
over the 3GB Data usage limit due to the fact that she was watching
movies. This excessive usage incurs
overage charges that we (venture systems) are billed for. We chose to make an exception and not forward
these costs to the customer
We have concluded that [redacted] did not understand that we
needed to receive back the Hot Spot before we could cancel all billings
In order to keep the customer happy, even though it was a
monetary loss to [redacted] we refunded all of the V/internet charges
back to the customer on 10/21/2015, as noted in a call log of the same date
below by Jared L(manager), and verified in the [redacted] refund confirmations
included with this response

* Since our Vcancellation policy now allows us to cancel the service before

Since it seems like her only issues are with our internet I tried to convince
her I think that she'll be fine when she gets a different internet provider

notice of this complaint from the Revdex.com on January 7th, 2016.First,...

we would like to apologize sincerely for the accidental
delay of this customer’s refund for the returned Telikin Computer.  We take very seriously our Company’s image
and reputation, and highly value each and every customer that we do business
with.  This was due to an issue with our
return processing system, which we have since corrected.We did receive communication from the customer (or
someone on their behalf), following up on this matter on January 6th,
2016.  We have corrected the mistake, and
