rejecting on a "non specific" way to "find a resolution" to our issue. We don't live inside town limits, and it takes us nearly 20 minutes to get to town. I'm not wasting my time if they aren't specific in refunding the $31 we were forced to pay because the vet took it upon himself to charge for seeing the dog when that was not what we were there for nor did we request it. Had it been one of the reasons we were there, I would have happily paid, but it was not. I want the $31 refunded for services rendered that were not requested and we were forced to pay.

Review: We have had our Lab seen at this clinic a few times for nail trims. The staff was very nice and she was happy. Our previous visit in January 2015, we had nail trim and vet visit done instead of adding her thyroid because we could not afford the additional $40 fee for the thyroid test to be done. We are on a fixed income. So we were told we could set up an appointment in Feb 2015 and they would test The dogs thyroid at that time. We said fine. We found the head vet to be a little "gruff" as in it seemed we weren't doing the best we could for The dog. In January, we discussed raising her thyroid medication, and there had been a lot of confusion on his part what does she was at, even though we explained to him several times what it was. But we were satisfied with that appointment. Now today, Feb 4, 2015 we go in expecting to just have the bloodwork ran. That was done and the tech came back in and said the vet wanted to see the dog again...without telling us why. The vet came in to talk to us about her level, which we saw was a little high and put her back on the exact dose she was on PRIOR to our visit! So in the meantime, we spent $15 getting more medication that we honestly shouldn't have had to buy had the vet wanted to just set up a test on her current dose. Come to find out AFTER the appointment that not only did we pay the $40 for the test, but another $31 for the vet to do a vet check on her paws (the last appointment she was itchy) which we didn't give the ok for nor were we asked how her paws were (even though we did tell the tech we were just there for the blood work and everything else was going good) and we were not told that's what he was going to do....otherwise we would have passed. So we get a total bill of $71! We had been under the impression that the results of the test were INCLUDED with the test fee, and the front staff, myself and my husband all knew we were only there for the blood work. The vet took it upon himself to exam the dog without just simply asking how things were.Desired Settlement: We want a refund of the extra $31 we were forced to pay for the visit because we were not told until AFTER the visit was over that the reason the bill was high was because the vet wanted to examin the dog. He didn't come in to talk to us, and no one asked if we thought she needed to see the vet. I see that the vet taking it upon himself, HE should be the one to foot the bill, not us! It's ine thing to be concerned about an animals well being, it's another to charge someone who didnt know !!
