Job # *** I purchased a home — VA Home loan from this company. From the beginning the house has been a nightmare. Starting with the well/septic. For 3 years the builder came out and tried to convince me that I was not having a well issue. There was water visibility coming up in the yard near the well. Finally, they have sent people out to dig up the yard and work on the well on three separate occasions over the years. The water has never worked properly in the home.

On Saturday January 25, 2020 I had a well drilling service to come out and find out why there was no water coming to the house from the well. The reason was the breaker box wattage 220 was too high for the well pump switch box 115/110 wattage and caused the switch box to burn out. The contractor let me know that it was a wonder the box worked the way it was wired for so long. Since the home was built as a new construction the builders has been sending people out to fix things wrong on multiple occasions fixing things wrong.

Other water related issues -
the pressure tank sprayed water in the crawl space of the home, causing a mold issue that wasn’t covered by homeowners insurance. they disconnected the water softener lines, the heating/air and venmar (air circulation) systems were not installed properly- these require water to run.
Things that have been worked on to date that we’re not installed properly — the cooking range vent system the air was not flowing out of the house. Water was running down into the house through the piping over the stove. The bathroom ventilation fans were not moving outside of the home.
Each time a new contractor would come out- they’d ask me who did this work for you. I would always tell them it was a brand new house. The things I have listed are not normal wear and tear issues.
