I am a Hall homebuyer and I submit this as a warningDo not buy a Hall homeThere reputation of being cheap homes that have a ton of issues is totally accurateIf anything goes wrong good luck trying to get any help from them on fixing itThey cut corners at every step of the processDO NOT BUY A HALL HOME you will regret it
When I first received my home, I had so many issues one was the conduit pipe for electrical wiring.The pipe was filled with dirt,sticks,and pieces of cement.The seller provided me a list with subcontractors which the list they provided me with was a old listThe list had contractors information that they no longer useI then called the electrical company on the list and they came out and did the jobOnce the job was done they tired to Bill me I then let them know we were under warrantyCouple days later the company gave me a call saying Hall Brothers didn't want to pay since they no longer use that company.We went ahead and spoke to ERA and they had let us know they gave us the wrong list and wouldn't be able to pay even if the house was under warrantyI tired to fight it then Nikki and Adam from ERA they asked us to show proof of the list so when we did they took it away so they can show the hall BrothersOnce they confirmed forsure he wasn't going to pay they gave us a new list
As an active duty military member we are brought up knowing that you can delegate authority but not responsibilityHall Brother’s has failed miserably for us and other homeowner’s in the area, specifically Park West, in this instanceLess than two weeks after moving into our brand new home we had a water softener installedThe home was “pre-plumbed” for a reverse osmosis and water softener system and unbeknownst to us they did not terminate the drain line through an air gap fixture into an actual drainThe drain lines were hanging freely in the laundry room and the drain cap was not even cut outHall brothers and their subcontractor failed to take any responsibility in this which resulted in our water softener running through a cycle and flooding our entire homeThe damage this caused resulted in us taking out a homeowner’s insurance claim for our brand new home that we had spent less than two weeks in to repair and replace all flooring and damaged cabinets and wallsThis ordeal has left us more than $6,out of pocket to date and would like to educate others who are contemplating on using this company to invest in a new home to think twiceThere are much better contractors out there who actually have morals and stand behind their products
