This is the first time I write a review on a moving company just because I have never had a good experience till now!
Hall's showed up on time
All gentlemen looked groomed and were very polite
Mr Hall had the contract on his hand to be signed before the moving startedThere were no hidden charges, it was exactly what was discussed over the phone
They looked around and knew right away what pieces to go first in the truck, which by the way was clean!
They wrapped up all the wood furniture, used dollies on the big pieces and had ramps for the door steps, They were efficient, innovative and caring

I guess they *purchase* the good rating when they pay to be "accredited" by the Revdex.comFirst, Roofs By Welch contacted me through ***.com in response to my project request for new guttersSomeone from Welch wrote that they'd like to measure my house and give me an estimate for gutter installationI wrote back that I'd be interested in that, and tried to set up an appointmentI wrote three-four times over the course of the next few daysI NEVER heard anything back from them through ***So, I called the officeThe man there, MrA***, knew nothing about ***, the gutter estimate visit, and he had never heard of meHe promised I'd get a call back from James (the guy in charge of gutters)He said James would come to my house tomorrow to measureJames would call in the morning to give me an exact timeI gave MrAnderson my husband's phone number since I would not be homeThe next day came and went and neither my husband nor I got a call from anyone at WelchI called the office againI got a secretary who said she'd give James my messageI didn't hear backI called again and someone said they'd "try" to patch me through to James's voice mailI said noI demanded James's cell phone numberThey reluctantly gave it to meI phoned him and he answeredHe half-apologized for never contacting me; he said that he couldn't call me earlier because he'd left his address book at the previous project locationWHAT? Then he said he had let his truck's registration expire and was currently at DMV renewing itHe said that once he left DMV, he would come to my houseAgain, I gave him my husband's phone number, since HE (hubby) would be home to greet James and I would not be thereSeveral hours later, James called and texted MY phone (AFTER speaking to my husband on HIS phone)Finally, he realized that he was calling MY numberHe had never even gotten our address, and that's why he was texting/callingHe finally got the info from my husbandMeanwhile, someone on *** made excuses to me in writing, saying that James had "had a problem" with his truck and that's why he was not in touch(Um, he had admitted to me that he was driving with an expired registration and had to renew it at DMV)! Finally James went to my house, met my husband, and measured the guttersHe promised to email the estimate to my husband within a day or twoThe estimate never cameI went onto *** and told them that James never gave us an estimate and I asked when I could expect itImmediately, I got two phone calls/voice mails from MrA***He was asking for our last name, since they supposedly didn't have itHe said they couldn't email the estimate without our last name(Our last name is part of my husband's email address)Finally, someone emailed the estimate to my husbandOn the estimate, they had my first name completely wrongThey had used the correct name in all *** correspondence, and in voice mails/phone callsA few days later, we wanted to ask a question about the estimateMy husband called the office and was promised a call backNobody calledHe emailed the company asking for a callNo call cameHe texted James on his cell phone, told him he had a question, and asked for a call backNo response cameI emailed *** and said that James has not returned any of my husband's correspondence over multiple daysDo they not want the business? Someone answered on *** with more excusesShe said that James had been contacting the wrong customer, that the other customer had a similar name to my husband's nameThat is a LIE! My husband had called, emailed, and texted the company and James THREE or four times and each time, he provided his first and last name AND his phone number! How could James have been calling the wrong customer in error? I wrote back to the woman saying that this was just another excuse and was untrue, since my husband was clear in who he was and what his phone number wasShe promised that James would call my husband TODAYThere has been no phone callThis "company" is a complete farce! This A+ rating is a JOKE! I would never hire this company to install my guttersI do not CHASE people around so I can give them my moneyIf they are this dishonest, disorganized, absent, full of excuses, and unprofessional BEFORE any work is done, what would they be like if we hired them? People need to stay away from "Roofs By Welch" and their unscrupulous "business"
