Revdex.com spoke to Steve at business and the following was relayed: We are the manufacturer of upholstered furnitureThe customer purchased the chair from one of our dealer's, ***'s Furniture which has gone out of businessThe chair was delivered in April and in July a mechanism was replaced to address a squeaking reported by the customerWithout a dealer, which we have attempted to locate and there are none found near the customer, we are unable to provide a warranty as the dealer would be responsible for transporting the chair to usAdditionally, the issues presented are not an issue with workmanship or manufacturing

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The chair (and sofa) were delivered to us on 5/19/(not in April)The base of the chair was replaced on 8/4/(not in July) but it's even worse nowWe never received the warranty information we requested (either from ***'s Furniture or Hallagan Fine Furniture) but if Hallagan needed ***'s Furniture to deliver the furniture to them, why didn't they let us know that before ***'s Furniture closed? The Hallagan rep was aware of the problems with the furniture when ***'s furniture was still in businessHow could the following issues not be an issue with workmanship or manufacturing? The sofa squeaks, and when you face the sofa there is a gap between the attached top cushion on the right and the right side of the sofa and there is not a gap between the attached top cushion on the left and the left side of the sofa The chair had the following defects: the large crease in the back cushion of their chair is due to not having enough fill, the material was starting to pull apart on the arm of the chair (right arm when facing chair) - [redacted] (from ***'s Furniture) said the metal is in a different place on each arm of the chair, and the base of the chair squeaks Since the base was replaced, the chair still squeaks and is now also making cracking sounds sometimes, the large crease in the back cushion of the chair is getting worse and there's a big indentation since there isn't enough fill which is beginning to make sitting in that chair uncomfortable Regards, [redacted] ***

I received your e-mail of 4/5/3:p.mand have some questions: 1) Why does it say dates complained - none provided? I typed in the dates of e-mails I sent to Hallagan Furniture - 7/25/15, 8/13/15, 8/27/15, 2/6/16, 2/10/16, 2/28/16, and 3/6/- the form had room for three dates and
I included the other dates in the section of the form for notes to the Revdex.com. Please note that these complaint dates are in addition to the fact that I complained previously, including the day of delivery, to ***'s Furniture2) Why does it say salesperson - none provided? I included that in the complaint - it was Kristie - ***'s Furniture3) Why does it have a time of 12:a.munder date problem occurred? The delivery date is correct - 5/19/15, but the form didn't ask a time of deliveryAlso, please note under date of transaction that I typed in the order date of 3/25/and the delivery date of 5/19/15, but the form only printed the 5/19/dateSincerely, *** ***

Without a dealer, which we have attempted to locate and there are none found near the customer, we are unable to provide a warranty as the dealer would be responsible for transporting the chair to us. Additionally, the issues presented are not an issue with workmanship or manufacturing.
