Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] Industries states the problem is because we are a commercial facility and have purchased a residential product from them The product is advertised using the word "Professional" in describing the unit, which is misleading (" [redacted] Professional Gas Range: 48" Pro-Style Gas Range...")Nonetheless, we are a small facility and cook for approximately people per meal We have had to rely on the small oven (the large oven is the one where the igniter keeps failing) So, this poor small oven (with an igniter) has been working its butt off, but it has not once failed! If the problem is, as [redacted] has stated, that the igniter keeps failing because we are a commercial facility, why does the small oven keep humming along There is clearly some mechanical defect with the large oven that is causing the igniter for the large oven to failThere are other problems with this range (model: H6R4801)With of the burners, the igniter continues to click while they are onof the burners has become dangerous - it does not light initially, then there is a large flameIf someone was unaware and had there face over the burner they would easily be injured The large oven door does not close all the way and as of today the small oven has become hard to open (checked and there is no obstruction) We have clearly purchased a "lemon." We paid $4,for a this range and have only been able to use the large oven for days since August, (over months) and we continue to have other problems with this range I believe a pro-rated refund or an exchange for a similar unit is certainly fair at this point Regards, [redacted] (mo) Attn [redacted]

Hello,  Without a name, or a ticket number to this complaint I'm unable to answer this claim.  Just an address isn't enough information for me to look up your file. Please provide a name, or ticket number you're talking about and I will get back with you. Thanks,

We stand by our products and honor our warranty, just as we have for the past 11 years in business.  This particular customer is using a residential range in a commercial setting. The range was never intended for commercial use.  However, we are happy to keep sending ignitors as long as...

the warranty is valid, and after that we are happy to continue sending them for a fee.  The range is high quality and we sell them everyday to customers all over the nation. Nobody else has had this problem. We will have more ignitors in stock in 3 weeks when a new container arrives. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:
[redacted] Industries states the problem is because we are a commercial facility and have purchased a residential product from them.  The product is advertised using the word "Professional" in describing the unit, which is misleading ("[redacted] Professional Gas Range: 48" Pro-Style Gas Range..."). Nonetheless, we are a small facility and cook for approximately 10 people per meal.  We have had to rely on the small oven (the large oven is the one where the igniter keeps failing).  So, this poor small oven (with an igniter) has been working its butt off, but it has not once failed!  If the problem is, as [redacted] has stated, that the igniter keeps failing because we are a commercial facility, why does the small oven keep humming along.  There is clearly some mechanical defect with the large oven that is causing the igniter for the large oven to fail.
There are other problems with this range (model: H6R4801). With 4 of the 6 burners, the igniter continues to click while they are on. 1 of the burners has become dangerous - it does not light initially, then there is a large flame. If someone was unaware and had there face over the burner they would easily be injured.  The large oven door does not close all the way and as of today the small oven has become hard to open (checked and there is no obstruction).
We have clearly purchased a "lemon."  We paid $4,000.00 for a this range and have only been able to use the large oven for 4 days since August, 2015 (over 8 months) and we continue to have other problems with this range.  I believe a pro-rated refund or an exchange for a similar unit is certainly fair at this point.

I've personally talked to this customer and they know I'm in the middle of setting them up with service to fix their issue.  Not sure why he's wasting our time on this platform.
