Hamar Inn and Suites Reviews (3)

Good Morning Jennifer, I am emailing you regarding the complain that Mr.[redacted] filed regarding his stay from 10/31/15 to 11/2/15. As we discussed on the phone, the gentleman had made a reservation at the [redacted] in [redacted] and was charged a no show fee for not canceling his reservation and was then charged for his two night stay from our facility. Which explains why he was charged twice. This property was in the midst of changing franchises at the time of his stay as well. We officially switched from [redacted] to the Harmar Inn and Suites on 10/30/15. Our facility in no way attempted to steal his identity as well. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me via email or phone. My email is [redacted] and my phone number is [redacted]. Thank you and have a great day. Sincerely,Jordan M. L[redacted]General Manager - Harmar Inn and SuitesBRK Hospitality

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]  they took credit card information from a form that directly said the [redacted], on [redacted],,  they used that credit card information to bill me for the 2 night stay....they should be responsible because like they said in their statement they changed on the 3oth, and this was for the 31st of Oct and Nov1, 2015. I believe this is Credit Card theft, and they should have told them to call [redacted]......I think its time for me to get a lawyer to check into this...

Review: on august 18, 2015 I booked a room through [redacted] ([redacted]) for 2 nights Oct 31 2015 to Nov 1, 2015. the [redacted] on [redacted]. When my son got the hotel he noticed a sheet over the [redacted] sign and it now read Harrmar inn & suits. he went inside to ask about the hotel and was told that [redacted] just sold the building to Harmar inn & suites, but they still honored [redacted] reservation. I had to fill out a credit card authorizatioin form before the room was booked, and this was to be used on checking in. this included all information on the credit card and my drivers license. when they met the lady at the front desk she gave them a room using the information on the credit card authorization and charged them for a two night stay without them knowing they were being charged at their hotel rate. the girl who was doing the check in I believe STOLED the information from the sheet of paper and used it to make payment for their two night stay..the credit card authorization form clearly states [redacted] and not Harmar inn & suites.m I am disstatified with the [redacted], because they should have told me that the rooms were booked for somewhere else, and the Harmar inn & suites for stealing my credit card info. should I get a lawyer??": thank you gjrDesired Settlement: it's pretty bad when a hotel steals information which clearlyn stated a different hotel and then charges my credit card for their profit. is this considered Credit Card theft??

on august 18 2015 I booked a hotel room through [redacted] on [redacted]..when my son arrived at the location he noticed a covering over the [redacted] sign. when he went in the hotel which read Harmar Inn & Suites, he asked them whats going on...they asked for the confirmation paper and when they received it, they told him that they are still Honoring the [redacted] booking...However, when they went to leave on November 2, they were told by the lady behind the desk that their computer was down and they would mail out their receipt. On Nov 2 I noticed that the [redacted] charged me for a no show and the Harmar Inn & Suuites also charged me for their 2 day stay. I asked the owner of the hotel how they got my credit card information and they said it was on [redacted]'s file, (and they were no longer [redacted]) so I found out they used the credit card authorization form that was originally for [redacted] only, which they took and chared me for the 2 day stay. I believe that Harmar Inn & Suites STOLED my credit card information just to make a sale..
