Hamilton Bridges & Banks Reviews (%countItem)

I've received 2 calls from this company claiming I'm being sued by a company I've never worked with, much less heard of. My call came from 941.465.4171. I've read many reviews coming from 941.465.4170 claiming it to be a scam.

After navigating their website I believe them to a scam company. Most of their testimonials list a dollar amount, and aren't written with the best grammar. They say they've been in business since 1992, but the Revdex.com has them listed as 3 years in business. They operate out of Florida, but the footer of their website says they don't do business in Florida.

Please, Revdex.com... they must've paid you for the A+ rating but they are a scam company.

My client received a call from Marisol D. claiming to be able to settle a lawsuit with a specific sum. I called her and left a message for her to return the call. When she called back and the phone was answered with the law firm's name, she hung up before I could pick up the call. She then would not pick up when I called her back.

It is my opinion that this is a scam to steal company's money.

Mari D. resolved my case before my answer was even due. She saved me over 20k. Great company

Houston Gates got me out of my lawsuit for a fraction of the cost and I didn't have to go to court, great company.

My client received a call from Hamilton Bridges promising to settle her debt for a fraction of what she owed. She called my law office to find out who they were. I contacted them and explained my role in representing her business. When I attempted to understand who they were, they hung up on me.

Hamilton Bridges and Banks is a shady front for a fraudulent operation who claims to settle cases involving 2 companies. The idea is that they'll offer you a "settlement" for a case that never existed in hopes that you're vulnerable enough to pay. Please don't fall for this. It's a major scam.

Mari D. really went above and beyond to help me settle an issue with a vendor. She really made sure that we would be able to resolve this problem.

I had a great experience having my previous LLC's debt settled. I owed quite a large sum many years ago, and Josh helped me through the legal process of settlement. He was knowledgeable and straightforward with my questions, and made the process easy. Thanks!

Fraudulent misrepresentations in order to collect a debt
Company representative contacted my client saying they represented an attorney and would settle his outstanding claim with that attorney for 50% of the debt. My client requested information on 50% of what, as that number has never been established. Company persisted. I contacted company. They do not represent or know Plaintiff's attorney. They contacted a represented client directly, in violation of PA law. They lied from the inception of the phone call through the end, and when called on the lie, hung up on me.

Desired Outcome

discontinue their fraudulent solicitation practice of saying they represent attorneys they do not

There is no response from the business

Mr ***,

I can assure you that we do not represent any attorneys, and when we are reaching out to prospective clients we are very clear in detailing how we can become involved in a case. We do not perform collections of any kind. We work against most collection agencies and attorneys in order to effect reasonable settlements our clients can afford, as an alternative to bankruptcy.

Called me at 5:30am
I received a phone call from this company at 5:30am. The person who called me was Hanna ***, phone XXX XXX-XXXX.

She was very abrasive stating I had a debt and I must settle it immediately. First off, we don't have a debt; we have a lawsuit in progress. So I question how they would get the information on the lawsuit so quickly? The suit was filed just days ago, and our attorney has just filed a response.

The smells of harassment. In that, the attorney who filed the lawsuit is running around notifying debt collectors to have them do his "wet work."

Desired Outcome

First, I want to know how you got the information so quickly. And, don't tell me it is public record, as you did over the phone. Someone gave you the info and asked you to pursue it( aka, harass me). Second, I want to know what steps this company will make to ensure no one else gets a harassing phone call at 5:30am. Third, you now owe us money. Four (2) hours of straight time and (2) hours of over time, for calling so early in the morning and waking me up and causing me to have to work..

Hamilton Bridges & Banks Response

Mr.,

We sincerely apologize for the call received so early in the morning. Our representative obviously had the incorrect phone number and was trying to reach a different business. We will make sure that your number is removed from our system to prevent any further calls.

Thank you

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They didn't have the incorrect phone number because they "asked for me by name." (emphasis added)

You woke me up at 5:30am as a hatchet man for an attorney suing my company. You failed to mention that in your response, too.

The corrective action is as follows:
1) I wish to know how you obtained the lawsuit info so quickly? Please don't say it is/was public record. At the time you called, the data wasn't even entered into the court system yet. So you would have no way of knowing without someone "tipping you".

2) I wish to be compensated (aka $$$) for calling me so early. On purpose!!

Thank you.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There was no voicemail. There was no reference number. There simply was the individual who's name I have provided and a harassing phone call at 5:30am from the number I provided, which was in my phone.

Hamilton Bridges & Banks Response

Can you please provide us with the reference number that was provided on the voicemail that you received so that we can review this further.
Thank you.
