My wife and I Paid *** (Owner of Hamilton's Headstones LLC) $975.00 (by certified check dated 8/23/19) to install engraved markers of a specified dimensions on the graves of 3 of my wife's family members. The agreed upon time for this to be done was 4 to 6 weeks. After a six week period, I tried to contact Mr. to check on status of work several times but he did not return my call. Finally, on October 21st he sent photos to my phone of the three marker without any text. I called him to find out when the installation would occur - same story: leave a message and I will get back to you. Other members of my Wife's family who live in the Baton Rouge area have also tried to get answers to when the work will be completed but have been unsuccessful. I personally went to Mr. address on Feb 16th 2020 but he did not answer his door. I left him a hand written note and told him if he did not contact me that I would take legal action. He contacted me the next day and gave a pathetic excuse and said he go ahead and finish things. A month later and still nothing. I have even asked Mr. to allow my Nephew (who lives in Louisiana) to pick up the markers so that we can make other arrangements to get them installed. As of this writing he has not responded. I am dumbfounded on what his motivation may be to act in such an un-business like manner when it concerns the memory of customers' loved ones.

Finish the job I would like for Mr. to finish the job he agreed upon and was paid for in advance over six months ago. One week after he has been contacted by your bureau should be sufficient. The other option is to for him to relinquish the markers (if they really exist) to my Nephew so that we can make other arrangements to have them installed. If he would do this we would consider the matter settled and move on.
My complaint with Hamilton's Headstone Company LLC has been resolved, however, Mr. services were unsatisfactory. Approximately two hours after I had filed this complaint with your Bureau: I received a call from Mr. stating that he had installed the markers. My nephew was in attendance and he confirmed that the work had been completed. Still, I think that there should be some consequences to Mr. reticence and dilatory actions in carrying out his responsibilities. It should not take 6 months (after engraving) to install 3 small markers on top of existing raised vaults. We will never do business with Mr. again, but I hope that you will take action so that others can be aware of what to expect if they do business with him.
