Hamilton Taylor Homes LLC Reviews (2)

Hello First things first This is my old email address My current email address is ***@gmail.com. In response to this complaint, I can truthfully say this is an attempt to extort money from me or the buyer is going to back things "difficult" for me so many
half truths and straight out statements. a I was not President of Hamilton Taylor Homes nor did I own it I was handed a punch list in which the subcontractor that worked on finishing the list finally stopped responding to him There were some valid issues that I worked diegently on It was a situation that once we were close to finishing items of a warranty nature another would be brought up we fixed and took care of everything he asked us to do and was happy about my efforts b The issue of mold came up after some time had passed and the buyer had already done some testing that I was not privy too I assumed the issue was as dire as projected to me I could not see what the issue was but that does not mean it wasn't there I didn't own the company or even work there in the beginning of this process but I answered his calls, visited the site and spoke with the mold inspection company I agreed to pay half of the amount stated which was $ I was going to buy the building company but it had not happened yet Regardless I was told by the buyer that the work was done and paid for this was sometime last winter In fact I drove hours that winter night to drop off a check to reimburse the buyer in a timely fashion I assumed that the buyer would call the owner of the company at that time and collect the other portion I never heard another thing from the buyer and I assumed he collected the other half of the money which was $ I spoke to the owner about his share and told him the work had been done and paid for and that he needed to reimburse the buyer $ c the buyer lied when he said he had the work completed and paid the mold company I called the mold company a couple days ago to give him a heads up that if there is an issue we would stand by the warranty on it and pay him directly so that we dont get sued by him later for non payment the mold company said that he did not hear a peep out of the buyer since last winter and was surprised because he sure was acting like it was an issue that could not wait even one day Once again the buyer lied He not only did not have the work done as he as said he also lied when he had me drop off a check to him last winter d Five months go by and the buyer never calls me, the mold remediation guy or the owner and decides to quietly try to cash that old check from last winter Why would he hold a check 4-months and not do the work? In the time between last winter and now the company has changed hands and the balance when I took it over was zero I assumed that there were no outstanding checks and I am certain the owner did not know this was be held for some strange reason e then the check is no longer good, the buyer's attempt to sneak it in failed and now he is writing you and doing anything he can to extort the money from the ex owner and myself Despite the lies, the rude behavior I politely text(he doesn't like to talk on the phone) the buyer that I will need a copy of the payment to the mold remediation guy or a lien waiver from him so I would know that he was paid for the work he did After hemming and hawing about it I came to the realization that the buyer never had any work done and never paid for it I verified that with the mold inspector as stated earlierI told both the mold company and the buyer that I would pay the mold company direct before the work was done but I would not pay the buyer direct for obvious reasons this upset the buyer because he could no longer scam $from us for nothing My guess is the mold was minor and he took an hour and did it himself and was trying to con us out of the $ f as for bonus fees for leads there was an agreement that he had with the company and the individual that worked directly with the buyer in the building process When I came on board to help on the punch list and any warranty items I checked with the owner and he agreed to continue the arrangement whatever it was this was only paid on sold homes not on showings there were no sold homes when I left the company and I know there were no sales from the showings the only two homes built that were the same model of the buyers never sold One in Proctor and one in Coffee CreekThe coffee creek is being rented out I am told I have had zero to do with anything that was built in as I wasn't even with the company but the buyer is clearly attacking me despite knowledge of this Very odd behavior I am happy to answer calls at *** to further discuss this massive waste of energy and time I have blocked the buyers number because he won't speak on the phone(for obvious reasons) and I could not spend more time texting for hours I told him that if he wants to discuss it that he can email me and I would call him He has my current email I called the mold company right away and they have not heard from him and nor have I Clearly an attempt to take money that did not belong to him was made and instead of being embarressed and staying quiet about it he is wasting your time and mine to take money from me under the pretense of a bunch of lies must be illegal After all of this I am still saying to him that if there is mold, which I dont believe there is, then the old owner and I will prepay the mold inspector That doesn't work for the buyer Prepaying doesn't work? this was a scam and he got caught lying about it

I am rejecting this response because: His response is not valid.  I have been very careful with my communications and ensured that most communications have been done through email and text message from the beginning.  Using this approach I have hundreds of documented conversations that will dispute everything Mr. [redacted] has just written. I will go through each of his points. a. Mr [redacted] is current and was previously listed as the President of Hamilton Taylor Homes via the Revdex.com site.  Mr. [redacted] represented himself and his email signature was V.P Hamilton Taylor Homes since my first archived email from him on 6/11/14.   His claim that "we took care of everything and was happy" is completely false.  Please see email dated 10/27/15 as attached Exhibit A along with Mr. [redacted]'s response with another "story" to tell me. b. His claim that he never worked their is completely false, If Mr [redacted] didn't work there then why do I have documentation and communication from 2014 with him listed as the Vice President? I have never in any communication stated that the work has been complete. quite opposite in fact as Mr. [redacted] is fully aware that given the fact they owed the mold contractor money he would not perform the work on my house until he was paid for the previous work and half down for my job.  We had the job scheduled but Mr. [redacted] did not drop off the check, he then had more "stories" and finally dropped off a blank check at my house.  This is all documented in our email and text conversations.  Please see Exhibit B.  I this email you can see that he did not drop off the check in a timely manner and thus I had to reschedule.  He also states that he would "prefer" to drop it off with me personally. c. I have never claimed the work had been completed and If so please provide proof.  The work cannot be completed until the contractor has been paid based on the history of HTH not paying contractors. Exhibit B will also confirm Mr [redacted]'s understanding of this and willingness to pay up front. d. I have email confirmation that Mr. [redacted] did in fact agree to pay for the refferrals. Email dated 6/5/14. Many state "we have 2 closing tomorrow and Monday.  I have attached more emails to support this as well. In my most recent archived text he states they closed on 6 but since he didn't get his share I should persue others for my referral money. e.  The exhibits are examples as I have archived every single email and text conversation with this company and Mr. [redacted].  YES, please contact the mold mitigation specialist and schedule the job to be completed.  Or drop me off another check like you did last time so I can pay him.  Just make sure the funds are available.  Also, pay me for the agreed referrals.  My emails and texts support that you had been with the company in 2015 and you in fact did agree to pay me refferrals back in 2014 and in fact did have up to 6 houses close through Easy Housing. This is all documented. - If anyone would like to see the full transcripts and emails please let me know.  I have been very diligent and organized from day 1 and have hundreds that support my claims and the steps that I have taken to rectify this situation.  My refusal to speak to Mr. [redacted] on the phone is due to the fact that I don't want to hear any more "stories" I want all communication documented.  I want the mold in my home mitigated and I want proper compensation for the work I have done/referral fees.
