The subject matter here is that [redacted] has not addressed the reason for me pulling my name of the permitThe matter is that he still owes the plumber for the additional work done, in order for the job to past the inspectionA payment was made for the plumbing which was agreed on, but in doing the work, the plumber realized in order for the plumbing to pass inspection this needed to be done.The fact of the matter in this situation he still owes the plumber [redacted] $480.He then sub contracted work under my permit (which meant that someone-else was working under my building license) without talking to me, which is a building contractor’s code violationThe work which was sub-contracted under my permit, was the installation of drywall, which was another code violation, because the framing work done previously was not inspected by the building inspector
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Unfortunately [redacted] has not explained what "additional" plumbing work had to be performed for the job to pass inspectionHe also has not and cannot provide written documentation of myself or my wife authorizing such work if it was outside the original bidI have provided documentation from the plumber [redacted] himself stating the amount owed was for the original bid and no "additional" work was performedThis original bid amount was paid in full to [redacted] as documented by the cleared check copies I supplied originallyTo address [redacted] ***'s concern regarding the permit and drywall, that is a separate issue but documentation of him having knowledge of the drywall work was included in my original documentation after a verbal ok from [redacted] over the telephoneI will reject any further comments from the business until written documentation is provided to refute my complaint.Sincerely, [redacted]
