Hammarhead Industries Reviews (4)

Review: Ordered a motorcycle bag on 18 April, 2013 and traded emails with a guy [redacted] in May and early June about delays due to manufacturing. Since then I've written both through the company website's info form and directly back to [redacted] requesting a refund and have heard nothing. The store recently went offline, though the website is still up. The website is due to expire this month as well.I'm owed $332.65 USD.Desired Settlement: Refund of $332.65 USD.

Review: [redacted] AKA [redacted] Hammarhead took a deposit from me in June '12 for a bike to be delivered in September '12. In October '12 [redacted] kept making the excuse that he couldn't find a "donor bike" to custom rebuild. I said to [redacted] since you are having such a hard time locating a donor bike, please return my deposit and when you locate a donor bike I will wire you back the money. [redacted] said my suggestion made NO SENSE, seemed overly annoyed and that the check was in the mail. In November called back asked where my refund was and he once again said he would get the check out to me. By the end of November I had a local Philadelphia attorney speak to [redacted] and once again he promised to send my refund. By mid December I hired a Philadelphia attorney and he worked out a 6 month plan which had clear terms for [redacted] to return the deposit that he signed. Beginning February '13 I began receiving my monthly deposit refunds. Every single month [redacted] had to be reminded to send the money. If I had to take a wild guess [redacted] was taking deposits for bikes from other people and paying me back with those funds. Payments continued until June '13 and he stiffed me on the final $2,000 as he went into hiding.

Really what [redacted] did to me was criminal. It was only when he realized it was criminal that he started returning my money most likely at others expense.

I do have a signed agreement to repay the $11,000 Hammarhead Industries took as a deposit from me. Plus [redacted] was to pay me $1,000 for the legal fees I incurred.

Since I reside in Los Angeles going to small claims court for $2,000 may not make the best sense so I am turning to the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed the $2,000 that is still owed to me on Hammarhead Industries signed agreement.

Review: I ordered a custom made "HHI Day Pack" bag from the company in feb 20, 2013. for a total with shipping $302.20 From there website Hammarhead.com

Before I ordered it the website said 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. I have yet to receive my item. I contacted them Via email Mar 13th, May 12, & July 15, and talked with [redacted] Trigaux their creative director ( [redacted]) and each time he told me there was manufacturing delays. I let it go until the webstore was shut down and he stopped responding to my emails starting september 30th. Again I sent an email on oct 7th and two more today oct 10th ( one email to [redacted] & one to [email protected]) with no response. Now I am contacting the Revdex.com for help.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to refund my money back please.

Review: I ordered a custom Jack Pine motorcycle from Hammarhead Industires ([redacted]) to be delivered December 15, 2012. In accordance with the purchase terms, I paid a $4,833 deposit on the motorcycle when the order was placed, which he confirmed on October 2, 2012. Subsequently, I paid another $4,833 deposit when the build of the motorcycle was supposedly commenced. He confirmed receipt of the second deposit on December 2, 2012. At that time, he informed me that the build was delayed and that it could be picked up in mid-January. Thereafter he stopped corresponding with me until May 14, 2013, wherein he informed him that the bike would be ready by June 1, 2013, and delivered to me in Illinois. By June 1st, however, the bike was still not delivered and no communication was sent to me explaining any further delay. Subsequent communications by me requesting a refund were not returned. To date, I had not received the motorcycle or the return of my $9,666 deposit.Desired Settlement: Full refund for $9666.00
