We met and hired Hammer Tyme, LLC on July 9, 2017, his home address is [redacted] to do contracting work on our tri-plex rental propertyWe came from Jackson Tn and met him and hired him to do the workA friend had referred himWe have paid him 8,half of what he asked for to start the jobsWe paid on July 9, 2,for apt A & B all the work was not competedPaid him 2,on 7-15-for foundation work that was never doneWe had to hire another contractor to do the foundation work at 6,We paid him on 8-3-by Wal-Mart Money Gram 1,to remodel apt C the only job completed was painting the walls and on 7-31-we paid him 1,stating he needed to replace the pipes in the wall, but that job was never completedHe charged and we paid by check to rewire, uninstall ceiling fans and installation on new ceiling fans I found out recently the fan in the second bedroom was not installed correctly and no new wiring was doneMy husband and I

The business owner [redacted] *** was paid over $in late June, to repair/replace the roof at our businessThe work has never been startedWe have spoken to [redacted] on many occasions and there is just one excuse after another, personal and otherwiseAlthough we have been empathetic and patient with ***, we finally had enough and on August 16, demanded our money be returned to us ASAP, that no work be done, and to void the contractWe sent our refund demand request to him via email, US mail (including certified, with return receipt) and to a PO box address in Belleville, ILWe indicated that we wanted a full refund by August [redacted] acknowledged receipt of our correspondence, but needless to say, our money has not been returned [redacted] contacted us and gave us the run around once again; never addressing the refund requestHe emailed us and said he'd be starting the work on our roof on August 25th and completing it on August 27th--totally disregarding our refund demand request, and of course again NOT starting any work as he agreedThis is beyond unprofessional!! We just want our money refunded ASAP, and to have nothing more to do with [redacted] Lumas and/or Hammer Tyme Construction!! We give a "zero" star ratingWe are now in the process of filing a small claims complaint and/or reaching out to the local news channels so that no one else will have to experience what we have!!

Very unprofessional and unreliableHammer Construction was hired and paid $5,to do plumbing jobwith a signed contractDid not finish the work or return phone calls when given time; also became very angry and aggressive when asked to furnish a coy of his license and provide a statement that explain why the job was two weeks over do I give a no star rating

I paid Hammer Tyme Construction $September 30, and $October 15th to repair pipes that burst on my property and provided door keys for entryNo work was done and I have been calling but the phone rings and would not let me leave a messageBecause no one got back in touch with me, I had the door locks changed
