Company delivered what they promised. I am totally satisfied with the craftsmen professional work they do. I would highly recommend them for your construction needs. Rod.

Have nothing but good and positive things to share about this company and it's owner. The entire experience sure surprised me bc I had been scared to do such a big project but Tony the owner made it so fun and easier for me to understand and made sure I was happy and satisfied with everything that they did, and they did A LOT but you wouldnt think so by the prices that I got and by just how fast they got it done...cannot express enough the gratitude and the satisfaction on this company and business relationship and professionalism, definitely for sure without a doubt recommend them for ANYTHING that you need done trust me, they make you Fall in Love with Your Home again... ;) ð???ð??·ð? ð??¨ð??

So had decided to go with this company and so Glad that I did bc the owner Tony did an amazing job with helping me to pick out colors and choose exactly what I wanted and needed in a roof as I was very nervous bc had never did a big project like this before so it set my mind and me at ease; the entire experience was very professional and done in a timely manner, the entire process was very respectful and I am in love with my new roof...

Had a great experience with Tony he came out and worked with state Farm and got our roof replaced. Thankful we called Hammertime Tony saved us 15,000 on our roof. Definitely recommend calling Tony for your next roof!!

Great friendly service, all of the work was completed within the time frame I requested and was a job well done!

HammerTime Home Improvements did a phenomenal job on my roof replacement! Very professional to work with from day 1! Tony sat down with my wife and I to help us pick the perfect color and we absolutely love it!. They started on time, finished in one day, and the clean up was perfect! They even had someone come out the next morning to make sure there weren't any loose nails left over! I would absolutely recommend HammerTime Home Improvements to anyone!

I decided against my better judgement to go with Hammertime because an acquaintance recommended them after using them to replace their own roof with no issues (that they are aware of).

Tony ***, the owner, had provided me an estimate on January 4th, but had neglected to address the flashing needs around the chimney and dormer. After following up with him, he texted that he was "replacing all flashing," and sent me a revised estimate on the 7th. I reviewed and signed the contract that day and asked if I needed to obtain the permit for the work. He told me via text that he'd "take care of everything" and stated he'd bring me out samples of asphalt colors. On the 11th, we met but he neglected to bring the samples, stating that he had to drive his spouse's vehicle today and the samples were in his truck. He assured me he'd choose a nice color for my house. I consented to this and paid him 50% down. He told me verbally that they would work on the roof on the 14th. After checking in with him on the 14th after noticing they were not there, he told me they'd start on the 15th due to delivery issues. On the 15th, I received a call from Tony, regarding the flashing around the chimney, he inquired if I was planning to use the fireplace and alluded that if not, they would tear off the existing stones and deck/shingle over it as he reported that it was "really bad." I told him I plan to keep the chimney and have a chimney expert out to evaluate it at a later time and that I still wanted it flashed. He agreed to flash it, stating, they'd do it up "real good" and then place a tarp over it until I had a chimney specialist out. I agreed to this. On the 16th, I followed up with Tony regarding the status of the roof. He informed me it was done and "looked great." He also mentioned they had to replace more decking than they had anticipated and he requested that I pay $300 more than what was in the contract. After reviewing the contract, I agreed to pay the extra cost, even though, it stated right on the contract that they would replace "any bad decking." I ran by the house to view the work and texted Tony when I observed no tarp around the chimney. I also questioned him about the flashing as I saw no noticable differences around the chimney and dormer. He reported the flashing was done. He stated that he did not say "tarp" but "tar," explaining that after they laid the shingles, they tarred around the chimney (at the time, I had no idea that this was a big no- no). I took pictures of other areas I had questions about and agreed to meet him to discuss and give the final payment. During our meeting, I showed him the pictures and asked questions to which he gave reasonable answers. I gave him the final payment. On the 19th, I observed water leaking around my stone fireplace and took pictures and contacted Tony regarding it. He stated that he would meet me the next day. He didn't show or respond to my contact. On the 21st, I contacted him again. He gave excuses as to why he couldn't meet then said he'd get back with me "in a little while." On the 22nd, he texted me stating that his "guys were on their way" to fix the issue. He never followed up with me again after that and it still continued to leak until I hired a real professional to come out to complete the work. I was also informed by more than one other roofing contractor that the work was not done well and was encouraged to contact the county building inspector for an evaluation. When I did, I was told
that no permit was filed for the work and that because of this, the inspector would not come out.

I learned a valuable lesson with this ordeal to say the least. I strongly urge anyone considering Hammertime to save your money and go elsewhere.

First of all we apologize to you Bobbi for your negative experience but the truth of the matter is this Ms P was informed that the chimney should've been torn down initially, she was totally against it and said she would seek out her own chimney professional to take care of her chimney. I then told he we should tarp the chimney so that it doesn't leak into the house she said that would be fine . We had a tentative start date of the 14th but couldn't get a delivery for that morning due to the fact that my distributor had to bring in a boom truck instead of a Moffitt because of the height of the house . When she called me about the leak I asked her if she had a mason come out to fix the mortar on the chimney she said no , the chimney was not leaking from the roof flashing but my guys and I came out anyway to make sure. When I talked to her again she was notified again that the chimney should've been torn down prior to doing the roof and that her problem required a mason. She then continued to call me , I asked her if she had a mason out yet she said no , I offered to tarp the chimney until she could get one and she became rude on the phone so I then told her I would not continue to have her speak to me in this manner over an issue she clearly stated she was going to handle. She then threatened to "BURY" my company and I no longer stayed in communication with her.

Per Mr. H own admittance in his comment, he told me they would "tarp the chimney," however, this never happened as instead he tarred around the chimney instead of placing new flashing as was agreed upon and was paid for per the written contract. Mr. H is not a truthful business man as I was never rude to him, nor did I threaten to "bury" him as he stated I did. I did unfortunately have to hire an attorney as Mr. H failed to pay the materials and supply company he used to obtain the materials to complete my roof. His failure to pay them, resulted in the material/supply company placing a mechanic's lien on my home. I had to pay an attorney in order to write a demand letter to the material/supply company, proving that I paid Mr. H/Hammertime in full for the project and thankfully, they released the lien on my home. In July of 2019, Mr. H was also sent a demand letter as he was in breach of contract for failure to complete work that he was paid for, among other things. Mr. H ignored the letter and has never attempted to do the right thing. Please beware.

Worst company to hire! Work left not completed; not that it mattered because the completed work was faulty. Anthony H with Hammertime Home Improvements will take your money and run. He doesn't return calls. He is a liar with multiple judgements against him, ours included. Do not hire unless you want to take him to court like we did, and we of course we won the case.

Unfortunately these accusations have been proven to be false Mr J did not want to wait for my crew to get to his fence so he asked me to subcontract it to a "Black Construction Crew" I then subcontracted the fence to *** Construction Mr J was very happy to have a "Black Construction Crew". He then went to the owner *** and made a side deal to cut me out of the profits , when the fence fell down a week later and Mr *** wouldn't answer his calls he decided to slander my company because I wouldn't go after *** on his behalf. The Courts did not find in his favor the case was thrown out and dismissed. My company has since put up almost 150 privacy fences since!! We no longer sub any work out we do it all in house , and as you can see we haven't had another complaint since.!!!

Mr. Anthony H' response October 29, 2019 is simply not true. Posted a YEAR after the original complaint and review, Mr. H continues to be untrustworthy, making up total lies about the situation he has yet to resolve. First and foremost, I did not ask for, in your words, a 'black construction crew'. To think you'd even stoop so low to not only make something up, but to have the audacity to link it to race is mind blowing. We gave your company a chance, and when you continued to make excuses why you could not start on time, I told you I would look for another company to complete the work. Your guys were there to start soon after because you didn't want to loose business. You were more than willing to come and check on work throughout and answer our questions. You never once referred to your construction guys as a company you sub contracted out. We paid you, in full, and nobody else. When you realized the work (you oversaw) was not completed correctly, you suddenly stopped answering the phone. The fence did not fall down a week later, the fence fell down within a day of 'completion'. I use the word completion lightly because it wasn't even finished when you bailed, a gate was leaning on the side of the house to be installed. Posts were dug less than 10 inches into the ground, instead of 3 feet. 1 inch deck screws were used. Corners were not square requiring additional posts to square out corners. Untreated wood was used. Video proof, photographic proof, bank statements, cancelled checks were all shown to the judge who did in fact NOT throw your case out, but ruled in our favor awarding 100% back to me. You've yet to pay, so I am still going to court for garnishment. I did not 'slander' your business, I simply took the high road and let the courts decide.
The original post was to make the buyer aware, this is a shady business that should not be used. It is not your word against mine, have a look at the Indiana court case look up for this business in Vanderburgh County to see before contracting their business.
