Season Home Improvement”although there was eventual communication with the customer Ms***At thistime Hammond Lumber contacted Maxx and Maxx hired local specialist Doug’s Tubs togo to the home of Ms***Late February/early March Doug’s Tubs attemptedto help the situation but found that the tub and the pump noise levels werenormalHammond Lumber requested that a Maxx manufacturer rep also visit thesiteOn April 8th Maxx toostated that the tub, pump and water noise is for this size pumpOurKitchen and Bath manager was also there on this visitHammond Lumber apologizedto both All Season and to the customerEven though two specialists stated thatthis is the noise level of this tub, Hammond Lumber Company offered a$courtesy creditThis is not a store credit but a “money back” credit.Eventually our money back offer was accepted and we sent a check and not cashto the customerWe do not offer store credits unless specificallyrequested. Other poinhave soldhundreds of these same units over the years and have never had this complaintThere are productreviews that could be investigated if noise was a concernThis remodel is a7’ x 7’ bathroom and virtually all tiledThe pump is notfully enclosed and is in the open in the basement stairwell and may contributeto the noise We feel that we haveapologized and feel badly that she thinks that we have notWe were dealingwith our direct customer as well and so apologizes were given there as well.We believe that thesize of the bathroom and the hard surface tile does not absorb noisePossiblysome acoustic remedies available for the room?The internet is awonderful resource for predicting and studying for concerns prior to purchase We have a showroom butwe do not have live and running tub unitsThere are some out of State if onewere so inclined to drive the distanceI have recently donesome research about Maxx tub noises and did not find much on the subjectThereare some companies that offer quiet models
