[redacted] references two vehicles he had impounded by our company.  We are contracted with the Corona Police Department and in both instances they were the agency that directed the impoundment of Mr. [redacted]’s vehicles.  The first one was for registration expiration over one year and the second one cites two separate storage authority codes.  One being operator taken into custody (22651(h) and the other (22651(I) 5 citations or more.  This vehicle too had expired tags.  We simply fulfilled our contractual duty by responding and impounding these vehicles per the Corona Police Dept.  I had no firsthand knowledge of the first impounded vehicle.  However he obviously abandoned it in our lot and it became our property to sell.  Registerd owners can come get any belongings out of their vehicles during normal business hours.  We have no record of any complaints of items missing.  If he never came and got them out then yes whatever is in the vehicle becomes property of Hamner Towing Inc.  I have had at least two or three conversations with Mr. [redacted] regarding his second vehicle.  During these conversations Mr. [redacted] basically stated that we took his vehicle unlawfully and that he is going to sue us.  Mr. [redacted] feels state laws do not apply to him and claims some sort of sovereign standing.  The conversations go round and round without any progress.  I advised Mr. [redacted] that we do not want his car and would like nothing more for him to pick it up.  All he had to do was get a release from CPD and come pay our bill to get the vehicle out.  I even told him that I would help him with the bill but that I could do nothing without him getting the release from CPD.  I had not heard from him in over two months.  We actually still have his car but it has cleared the lien sale process and is now property of Hamner Towing Inc.  Again would love for him to come pick it up but our bill now sits at $1610.00 due to the fact that it was stored for 24 days before it cleared the lien sale process.  Mr. [redacted] was able to get a release from CPD but for whatever reason he chose not to.  Instead Mr. [redacted] has made complaints via Yelp and now the Revdex.com, when he is the sole reason his cars were impounded in the first place do to his own choosing of disregarding the law.
