Hampshire House Apartments

Review: Rented an apartment and December 2013 a fire burnt a large part of the apartment. The fire was caused by a faulty fire place in the apartment.The fire department stated this also. The landlord is charging me rent and I cannot stay in the apartment because of the damage. He said they want me out so they can remodel it but he is not offering me a place to live there. He stated he got money from insurance for the place but I had to pay all kinds of bills related to it (hundreds to turn on my utilities again lost property, etc.). I am looking for another place but feel I have been treated unjustly. As a renter I signed a lease and he is breaking the lease not me.what recourse do I have in this matter - thank you so much!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for January rent and not to pay February rent. I would also like my deposit back since fire was not my fault and also replacement of my personal items that were damaged.
