Review: I purchased a knife set which I never received. I contacted the company by email 6 times requesting either the knife set or a refund, called and received a voice mail, left a message, received no reply

The order was made in August and I have not received a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $27.95 the price a paid for the knives

Review: On August 21, 2015 I lodged a complaint on Hampton Forge's website about a set of 17-piece cutlery that I had ordered. After only a few months the knives began to rust and break with very gentle usage. Less than a year after purchase I only have a few knives left. One August 24th I received a response from Patricia G[redacted] (Domestic and International Consumer Service Manager), offering me a replacement set. I agreed to this, selected a comparable set that was offered, and provided all of my mailing information the same day.

As of September 21, 2015 I had yet to receive the replacement set or any response from Ms. G[redacted]. I emailed to follow up and see if there might be any delay. I also called several times. I attempted to contact Hampton Forge directly through their website on several different days and continually get an Internal Server Error Message. I reached to Hampton Forge on Facebook as well and have yet to get any sort of response what-so-ever.Desired Settlement: I want a response from Hampton Forge. Is the replacement set coming or not? I think that's a pretty reasonable request considering YOUR product resulted in a trip to the emergency room after a knife snapped while cutting an apple. The delay and lack of customer service is completely unacceptable.

While Hampton Forge was certainly never "inconstant" contact with me (more like inconsistent contact), the matter at hand has now been resolved.At this point, I do not wish to pursue it further.Thank you for your help Revdex.com!

Review: I purchased Hampton Forge flatware style Lara Mirror, 65 pc set on 7/19/13 from[redacted].

The package was missing (3) dinner forks and (1) sugar shell. I emailed the customer service representative, [redacted] on 8/2/13. I received a response from a [redacted] on and sent her a form for called a Consumer Replacement Request on 8/2/13. Since that date, there have been long stretches of not hearing back and jerking me around with promises that the flatware was being shipped [redacted] and then it would never arrive and then another [redacted] number given that turned out to be invalid and then emails saying the shipment was lost and would send another. Finally, on 10/5/13, a package arrived, however, there was ONLY the sugar shell that I had requested and the (3) dinner forks were missing still. I want to have my full compliment of flatware that the package promised would be in the box. All I am asking for is that the (3) missing dinner forks be shipped to me. Otherwise, it is false advertising to say on the package about what I was purchasing./Desired Settlement: I want to have my full compliment of flatware that the package promised would be in the box. I have been corresponding with Miss [redacted] regarding this issue. She has not only been sent the missing pieces from the original packaging but extra place settings and hostess set as well as a complimentary gift from Hamtpon Forge.

I am rejecting this response because: THough I did finally receive the pieces months later, the part of the response letter was not true and I never received per the note to the Revdex.com:

"extra place settings and hostess set as well as a complimentary gift from Hamtpon Forge". These products never came and was an apparent attempt on the part of the company to smooze the Revdex.com. Once again, this company does not tell the truth.

After receiving the initail letter advising the incorrect shipment was sent out. An order was placed direclty to the warheouse on Oct. 2nd after the first shipment from our offices. I sent an email for a compimentary gift on oct.6th. I checked for a response and did not see one after recieving this complaint. I am reshipping 4 complete 5pc setttings plus a hostess set today. I will also include a complimentary gift for the frustration and confusion on behalf of our consumer.
